I watched The Highlander from the first movie. Got hooked on the series and my daughter cracked me up the first time she watched with me. Kept saying she couldn’t believe I never mentioned how gorgeous Adrian Paul. Needless to say she was hooked and would watch the show with me when she was still at home. She found other fans when she went off to college. We have watched every one of the movies as well as every episode of the series. Discussed how much fun most were, but disappointed in a couple. Great to have found this! Thanks!

I arrived home in a hurry just to watch this series when i was a student. i can now say this work alone is a paralel series. Great job.
It's a good thing Duncan was so long lived. It wasn't apparent while watching these scenes as flashbacks during the series but he was an incredibly slow learner.
I think I was about 35 when the tv series started. The quality in every detail set this far apart. And I don't think anyone but Adrian could ever capture the charm of this character.
Your effort is obviously one of love (and obsession!)
Roger Daltry was such a gem in this series. I really enjoyed his screen time. A much better actor than anyone realized, he was awesome. Apparently he was the life of the party after shooting too and often footed the bill for all their food and drinks. A great and accomplished man.
Making a tv show of this quality is something they cant seem to do anymore nowadays. Or maybe i am getting old because i seem to sound like my parents talking about how everything was better in the good old days lol

I won't lie. Bonny Portmore gets me every time. I shed tears the last episode.
I just got the Highlander series soundtrack in the mail last week. I cranked it as high as it would go in my vehicle. it was still chills inducing. I did the young driver thing and thought all on the ,ain st. sidewalks should hear it too. I would usually be the person walking cursing the drivers and saying turn your crap down, to myself. but it was Bonnie! not a common tune.
Many of us 70s and 80s kids faithfully watched this series along with Relic Hunter, The Beachcombers, Gunsmoke, Little House on the Prairie, Black Beauty, Movin On, and there were a few more good ones back then but I can't remember the names right now. All were pretty good series that still hold up well against the increasingly immoral stuff we see on TV today.
There are even Porn versions now on Porn channels ……Even Star Trek and Red Riding Hood !

Watching his life in sequence brings a whole new perspective on his growth as a character and just how deadly his world is as he barely survives through the initial decades of his immortality.
It really shows how full of tragedy his youth was. It's how he became such a badass!

I’m a 50’s girl, but I didn’t get to see the the Highlander Movies until much later, however I absolutely loved the original Movies, “Connor McCloud” was my hero. I’m new to this Chanel and I love this take on the originals. About time it was made into the follow-ups. Love your work!!!!!!!

Thank you. What a work. Getting the flashbacks from all seasons. I allways loved to watch the highlander and one of the best parts where the flashbacks, and now I can watch them again in chronological order. A tip my hat for you.
I read that Adrian Paul really enjoyed doing the flashback scenes. In fact, it was this reason why the episodes "The Stone Of Scone" and "Unusual Suspects" were set entirely in flashbacks. My hat is off to the cast and crew of Highlander for working so hard to bring the past to life each week for six years.

The production value of this series is very impressive. The sets and costumes alone must had been fairly expensive for a tv series and even for some movies.
The set and costume budge was reasonable for the time. But now, every aspect, every facet, every episode is a cash grab. Mass media, for the most part, sucks these days.
Yea then add it was a French Canadian Sci Fi show that makes it even more impressive. They don't have too many winners from that section of tv media.
For the sets they used real locations, saves a lot of money too.
the rivalry is priceless between roger daltry and duncan, they are a great comedy team
I loved the part where Roger is acting like he can't sing at all, lols.

I was thinking the flashbacks from endgame would have been on here too. Especially when Duncan first met Connor on the battlefield. This is still excellent work.

Amazing that the Highlander film/series and the tagline “there can be only one” was created by an undergrad film student called Gregory Wilden. He would pump out more hits over the years but Highlander was my favorite. Thanks, Greg.

I wish Duncan would have kept his accent all the way to the end. I thought it added to the mystique of who he was. Even if some people didn't care for Adrian Paul's Scottish accent. I was sad at the end of the series when Roger Daltry's Hugh Fitzcairn was killed. He was the life of the party. And remember Roland Gift as Xavier St. Cloud? He was the lead singer in Fine Young Cannibals.

I really miss the Highlander series. The movies were OK however the series kept you waiting from week to week. Great Writers!
The Highlander series is due to start back in 2020 from what I read. The books are really engaging as well. I read all 8 of them.
