OOOO I'm so hyped because Porter announced that he is finally going to bring and perform his Nurture live set in my city this July!!! I've always wanted to watch him perform live but there's never been any indication that Porter would be coming here... BUT THE TIME HAS COME!

And I was so hyped that I decided to quickly make another remake :)

So this one is "Trying to Feel Alive"; a closing scene; an Omega; a song that ends the entirety of Nurture. Enjoy!
Wow, a great take on this song! I've been loving Trying to Feel Alive more and more, since at first I didn't think too deeply into the lyrics as it was at the end of the album.

I agree with you! "Trying to feel alive" would be weird if it was positioned at the middle or even in the beginning, the lyrics just doesn't fit inside the "story" that Porter tries to convey inside Nurture. And thanks for stopping by! ❤

Nice cover tho, love porters work and I think this is a very faithful recreation. Also noticed the room ambience which I feel is a very porter-eque thing to include.
Yup, my take is that Porter used a lot of foleys and the virtual instruments were also layered with the real ones ( like the piano for example) to make each track feel "organic" and "personal". Ambients were also layered with white noises as well. And about the piano pattern name, umm well.. yeah 😅
