- we played the horde test and tried cera's new ability. I might be too stupid, but, I didn't manage to make any use out of it. other than that we had some nice encounters and a aggro pachy got karma XD

Sorry Mombie I was that teno in Highland with my stego friend as well as in South Plains.... I killed 2 ceras in highlands and I killed 1 cera that was south plains before you guys came to attack me and the other teno. Sorry, my stego friend had to avenged my death at the end... LOL. Great video buddy as always and hopefully we meet again in other circumstances xDDD

I heard you following, I even mentioned the stego in chat two times and went in the bush for me coffee because I knew you will arrive. but, somehow your friend was completely out of my mind in the end. stupid me, was totally my bad ^^

Honestly I think Cera being able to relase charged bite without stopping in it's tracks is a very needed buff, should stand a better chance against, well everything really but speacially Carnos.
Also I'm really glad that they made Dilo give // diet, because it's the hardest diet to find if you are a Cera or a Carno. Like Carno needed to eat the guts of either 5 fully grown Omnis or 2 Tenos to get it from 0 to full.
yeah, dilo is a very nice addition to cera's diet. I really like that one, too now I have to figure out what this vomiting is for
I really want carnos diet to be adjusted as well. Just feels way too hard to get the // diet

Mombie I always love seeing you with the Ceratosaurus it's a truly fantastic animal for the ecosystem and I really liked the times you faded your hunger😁😁😁 I LOVE it when a carnivore's diet is updated and in my opinion the dilo fits well in the ceratosaurus diet after all ah more less the same size as an omni and then it would be a more substantial meal than ah a Herrera I'm very happy that you liked the new mechanics of this animal it's really interesting😍😍😍I like it very much I'm sorry you couldn't make a nest but it doesn't matter, it'll be for next time💪💪💪 Anyway I can't wait to see you again with the meat😍😍😍😍
thx mate ♥ yeah, but I didn't quite get the point of it. I don't know if it was bugged or why that body didn't rot, the many nutrients you lose are brutal tho anyway, it's a new ability which will probably be nice to have. at least as soon as I understood the point of it
It is insane how a pachy can make a Cerato, twice its size, have to hide under a tree to give itself a fighting chance to not die.
well, I wouldn't say so. in fact the pachy has almost no chance to kill you. yes, a broken leg is the worst case and it's best to get in a position where it can hardly circle you, but even in the open the pachy has barely a chance to kill you. if you time your bites right, then you always hit it in the moment in bonks you. cera can tank 10? or even 15 bonks? you need 2-3 bites in return. so yeah, they can damage you pretty well. but in a 1vs1 a pachy has barely a chance to kill a cera in my opinion.

The vomitting really is perplexing. I'd say it's for managing / emptying out your nutrients.... But then it doesn't make sense that only Cerato is able to do this on command now.
Could also be that they just wanted to make every Dinosaur "able" to throw up, so while Cera can't do it from overeating, it can do it on command. But then *again* Deinosuchus can't either...

if i download the horde test - how long does it take and do i loose my dinos from evrima?
depends on your internet speed. my download took about 5 minutes or so. you can't play your dinos on the horde test, because it is an own server, but, as soon as you reinstall evrima, your dinos are still on the servers you had them. well, unless the update drops and wipes the servers. but if so, then you lose them anyway.

@@Stef_GER I saw the announcement of the horde test on their discord server. no info about the update release so far. I think it will be released without much of an announcement before
you can use the manual vomit if your hunger is full but you still need more diet, its not supposed to be used for decaying bodies i dont think
oh, really? I read that they should decay more fast and so you can "steal" prey from others. does my memory play with me?
@@da.mombie i dont know, maybe it has two functions but the function your thinking of is bugged? in general tho because cera cant throw up/get vomit sickness but u want more diet u just manually throw up to get more, u just have to eat a large amount afterwards
@@CarnotaurusEnjoyer but, that doesn't work. because you lose more nutrients while vomiting than you get back. well, it could be useful to change your diet, if you have a kind of great diet only.
@@da.mombie yeah in general it probs is more usefeul if ur max hunger and have a good diet and want to switch it up or something. not sure why you would want to do that but i guess its something new.
I'm 99% sure decaying bodies faster for Cerato to obtain diet is the whole point of the mechanic implementation - I would have to look through some of their old posts to actually find confirmation tho, more likely it is just buggy.

Pachy is the dino I hate the most in The Isle because of how aggressive they are, paradoxically I'm really glad pachy players play the way they play, because I think it suits pachy so much. For me pachy is just a 500kg goat, and goats just bonk everything that breathes lol
my pachy is a herb and me herbs don't attack for no reason. therefore, I don't like how most people play pachy. that said, I also don't mind it much, so
Your skin looks VERY similar to the skin the cerato has in a lot of the isle teasers lol, like the trail cam one, funny cuz I tried to copy it cuz I like it a lot but the flank color is jusssttt a little too dark compared to when I look at the official skin, I wonder why they changed it from the orange in the videos to the original yet desaturated default skin lol

The other cera screaming at the end to warn you but you're too worried about apologizing the vomit ability is interesting, but the only use I can imagine is being able to clear one of your diet hexes. I haven't heard about it rotting bodies faster, but I'm also not sure why I would choose to do that?
yeah, me and multitasking as far as I know, it should make them decay more fast to make the body uneatable for most others (beside deino). to kind of claim it. the problem is, I start to get confused. I was pretty certain I read that in an the isle news video once. but, I only found this czcams.com/video/T0ke_bZd5Mw/video.html again. unfortunately the other comment was more back in time and I can't properly remember in what video anyway, for what other reason should you be able to vomit on a body?

Honestly hate Pachy abusers that just kill everything for fun. Idk why Pachy is so God damn strong. Fast, agile, can jump and has the only bone breaking ability in game. It can also instantly 180° turn and headbutt you (died to this last week).
pachy was even way stronger when it arrived. meanwhile they are pretty balanced imo. aggro pachy groups are annoying, but, so are aggro players in general. no matter if pachy, teno, stego, cera or whatever. I don't like such bully groups in general

my old pc could only play it at 8 fps and crashed when there were people but it looks like such a good game ;-;
unfortunately it need a pretty decent GPU. that said, even a 6 year old 2070 should be enough to play it quite properly, so, it isn't as bad as well. I hope you will be able to play with decent FPS soon, too
