the season before Alus was infinitely better though, she is the only good thing about the season. The direction, animation, action and comedic framing was all worse and a couple times embarrassingly low quality

Niw remember the author was forced by the publisher to make emi loose as a foreigner wining a love triangle was "wrong" and "not what tge people like". Hate the publisher not the author. Its like naruto.
Originally the series ended with season 3 of Naruto.
Then publisher forced more naruto and we got the filler year of manga that because season 4.
Then shipuden was gonna end after pain.
And well now we have boruto and the show js crap. The author wanted to be done years ago.
