Thanks Egbe for taking me down memory lane as I sat at the Hair dresser's sallon this day April 5th. God bless you. May the souls of the departed rest in eternal peace.
These just brings me to tears. I so remember waking up to these sounds every AM. God, this is so healing. Memories of my mom. So proud to be from 237. Thank you big bro. So EPIC
Oh wow!!! Before going to Saker Baptist College, the English choir in our local church in Maroua(Extreme North Province - now, Region) sang all these songs! My uncle was the music director of that choir. I will sing along with him at home on weekends. I had no idea that these songs were sung by this group!!!!!! Oh what nostalgia!!!! I'm just feeling so proud now to be a Sakerette!!!!! Thank you Sir for keeping this archive. 😃😃😃😃😁😁
Simply EXQUISITE Mola: Hearing these priceless songs gives me the opportunity to have a glimpse into what my mother (=Sophie N Woloa) and this group of EXCEPTIONAL COLLEGE SINGERS achieved in their prime.. I'm so so humbled that she was part of such an amazing project... and do remember looking through her photobook and listening as if caught in a dream when she narrated excepts of their North American tour back in the day... ...short of words, mola! #Di Som, Jita-Jita..
PRICELESS!!! Moving, emotional, nostalgic, uplifting, memory-packed, … & such beautiful shots of Camer culture!!!
