Animator David M Strandquest - Wind Tunnel - Speed Racer Interview w/ Dave Despain - Speed Channel

This was a low budget, super fast turnaround job at Primal Screen. They told me to use as little animation as possible. We finished it right before it aired. The clock on the wall had to have the correct time so it would look like it was live...lol.

Was this aproved by Tatsunoko or Speed Racer Enterprises, while they still existed, was the one who comissioned this?

I have no idea. I just had to get it done. I would imagine it was approved by the powers that be at the time. It was basically a plug for the show being scheduled on the Speed Channel.
