    I like the Philippines and my favorite place to go is ILOILO city. It is the cleanest city in the Philippines as far as I witnessed. It is a good place to retire in the Philippines. I've been to a lot of cities in the Philippines and I found Makati, Taguig, Cebu, Davao, Palawan and Cagayan de Oro as nice cities too.

    I live in Makati and my heart was captured by Ilonggo (from Iloilo) and he is so sweet and loving. I've been to Cebu and it's a great place and has so many things to do. Never been to Bacolod and Davao but I already have plans.
    BTW, you showed uptown mall as part of Makati. Actaully, its located in BGC in Taguig City, a neighboring city of Makati.

    Proud Davaoeño Filipino here, from Davao City, Philippines!!!! Yeah, you can drink the water here directly from the faucet unlike other cities in the Philippines!!!! When I was in Cebu and in Laguna, I was shocked that they need to buy their drinking water unlike us Davaoeños-whether rich or poor-you will have free drinking water directly from the faucet!

    • @piosian4914
      @piosian4914 Před 5 lety

      Zyper Bolt - It will be real nice if the islands can be interconnected, and become one whole country, not fragmented for centuries by water. Samar-Leyte was feasible because the coastal lands can support the bridges. Tanon strait is over 500 meters deep. Even if Negros and Cebu are only 5 miles apart, no way the buttresses can be supported. Guimaras Strait is only 2.3 miles from Iloilo to Jordan, same water is too deep. Just don't believe the politicians promises. Use common sense.

    • @piosian4914
      @piosian4914 Před 5 lety

      J. Chavez - We left the Phils 52 years ago. that was already a promise and voters believed blindly. Half a century later, nothing. If the substrata is rocky and not more than 20 meters deep, the supporting structure will hold and construction is possible. Its just too sweet to hear the impossible.

Aside from plentiful and bountiful supply of fruits and vegetables since no storm that can destroy the crops. Cheaper prices. Seldom have brown outs. Most people are helpful and honest. Streets are four lanes, wide and clean and have flowering plants and trees all around. Houses are mostly on well - organized villages and subdivisions. Kudos to President Duterte job well done, being the mayor for long time of Davao City!

      Davao City was the first safest city not only in the Philippines but in Asia. We're not only safe in terms of low crime rate with discipline and order, but also we're a typhoon free place because we're located in Southern Mindanao. For my 22-year of existence here in Davao City, I haven't experience typhoon in my life. I need to go to Luzon jusy to experience what its like to be under a storm/typhoon haha!
      And also, the culture here in Davao City is more diverse and rich than the other cities mentioned here in the video. We still have our 11 indigenous tribes living here in Davao City with their unique culture, language, history, and tradition together with those japanese descendant during the abaca plantation period of Davao City even before World War II. The Spanish colonization here in Davao is rare but we do have a fair share of spanish history in Davao City!

      coz its hard for us to speak Tagalog with its "floating like" accent. Cebuano is thick and hard, and we speak the word syllables by syllables. Also, you tagalog are so shallow minded, you always make fun of us if we speak tagalog, obviously we we dont have your accent so its normal if we interchange the stress in any tagalog words. We really dont understand why you laugh at it. Unlike in States, they dont make fun of whatever accent you have, as long as you speak and understand english, thats enough for them, also they give compliment if you speak english well. Thats the reason why we choose to embrace English compare to ignorant Tagalog.
