There are 14 college stadiums that are bigger than the biggest nfl stadium.
Yeah that’s only because half the stadiums or 1/4 of the stadium is the student sections which are cheap and most colleges sell tickets at face value of 20-40 dollars depends on the section. If they sold the tickets at nfl prices they would need smaller stadiums.

Jason you're right their stats are wrong AT&T is the largest in the NFL... Base seating capacity is only 80k although when ticket sales are high enough they open up another 25k bring the total up to 105,000...

The listed capacity is still 80k exactly. Which is probably how many proper seats they have. Remember they needed to build bleachers for the Super Bowl... and _utterly failed_ at completing them by the way? If the seats aren't in the building all year round, they don't count them, which is why State Farm/UoP Stadium doesn't claim 80 grand despite getting that many people in the building for two different Super Bowls.

At the Cowboys first home game played in the stadium they set the record for the game with the highest attendance in NFL history... At a little over 105k

That’s standing room not base capacity. That’s not how searing capacity works since it’s even in its name. “Seating capacity”. It’s like having a restaurant and taking reservations for the building capacity and not the seating capacity and having over 100 people pissed because they don’t have a table. So I think you need to look up the meaning of room capacity
@@justi139 I understand that the seating capacity numbers are the total of the solid seats in the stands. Though they never factor in the VIP/Box Seats.
I disagree with the Washington stadium. Idk if it could be that big since the size have been decreasing.
IMO. Honorable Mention for biggest Stadiums. Ford Field in Detroit. And Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.

Only 80 thousand permanent seats. SEATS is the key word, they can definitely fit 20k more people in, but ten have to sit on temp bleachers and ten have to stand.

@@IamJerry69 Go look up the listed capacity. That 105,000 game had 25 thousand STANDING. Mania, and this is interesting because Vince McMahon ALWAYS exaggerates the attendance, didn't claim more than a hundred thousand despite the entire field level being in play for seats.

Anthony Alvarez they only have a capacity of 80 k or 82 k I believe but they can expand to 100,000 or more if they wanted to but they have it listed as 80k or 82k (not sure of the actual seat count but between 80 and 82) but they don’t use the extra 20k seats which I’m not sure why but they count as 80-82 k

They have big stadiums but they DO NOT have an atmosphere
Penn State, Alabama, LSU, Clemson, Oregon, Notre Dame, or even Nebraska or Tennesee when its a huge game, have impressive atmospheres that I think can compare with any English Football Club in my opinion. Most of them are 100,000+ seat stadiums btw. Ive been to one... It's very fun.
NFL atmosphere is a joke though, but college blows it out of the water. Im not saying college is better then English Football, but they are far from unenthusiastic.
