I think New York will be a good move
for you considering your career path. When I saw your video about leaving ATL n what your career moves was like.. I was thinking go to NYC or Brooklyn .

Lived, grew up in NY and worked as a cop in NY. Moved 2 years ago from NY great city expensive as hell and the crime rate is out of control be safe 🙏🏾 Have you looked in Yonkers and White Plains and upstate NY? Trains will get you to the city in 30-45 minutes.
In New York you are paying for location, location, location. I did like the tour of the apartment. I have seen apartment tours in New York the size of a closet for an enormous amount and no bathroom. The bathroom in the video was a community bathroom shared by everyone in the building. I would like to visit for a Broadway show but never to live.

I was rooting for you when you were in Atlanta. It appeared as if you had a plan, but "did not: have a plan. I am a native New Yorker and will say you must have a clear plan if you consider relocating. The pace of Atlanta is years behind that of NY. In Atlanta, one can figure things out. This is not the case in NYC. The culture differs. It's fast-paced, business-driven and there is no room for error. Southern hospitality is non-existent. I'm sure you've experienced friendly hellos in Atlanta. If someone says hello in New York, more than likely it's a set-up. Eye contact is dangerous. You must understand verbal and body language. I love New York for many reasons. You can get whatever you want to eat at anytime. We are always on point and aware of our surroundings. We can identify a non-New Yorker by a quick glance. I've noticed in Atlanta everyone tries to be the same and just like the person next to them. New Yorkers have their own mission and unique style. You can tell which borough someone if from by they way they are dressed and it's okay, we do not hate on each other. As a Queens girl I do not own a pair of jeans. I can easily see a girl with jeans, Jordans and a ponytail and knows she from Brooklyn or the Bronx and more than likely she is carrying a razor blade. You can determine which borough she's from by the way she walks. The same goes for the guys. You know where he's from by his swag. Make sure you have a plan. New York has experience regentrification. If you do not do you homework you may be in for a rude awakening. You may move into a nice apartment only to learn your local stores around the corner are in the middle of the hood. If you have questions about any borough just ask.
😂. Glad someone is being honest. This can happen in really big cities. I feel they go to Atlanta, GA seeking a wrong way or surrounded by fake people or they’re not having the mentality to build where they want to go. So they get caught up in all the negativity or being depressed.

Yes New York is quite more cost effective than Georgia overall. It’s just they’re really ungrateful of Georgia.
