- This hunt was CRAZY! Not only was this the longest shiny hunt I've had in Legends Arceus, but I also managed to get THREE Shiny Alphas: Shiny Alpha Mothim, Shiny Alpha Rapidash, and Shiny Alpha Heracross. Super pumped to wrap up this hunt, so I hope you enjoy this VERY LONG video.

🔹Reset: This means to go back to Jubilife Village and then return to the area again.
🔹Phase: This refers to a Shiny Pokemon that is NOT my target. Basically, think of them as chapters of the hunt!
🔹What method is this?: I don't think it really has a name (that I know of), but feel free to call it whatever you wish!

@@misci26 Well it doesn't necessarily mean either; 'reset' usually is short for 'soft reset' (to reset the game) but in this case I am pretty sure it means 'area reset' (pretty self explanatory)

@@sleepi866 I can’t lie, I actually hope they are, but not in the sense of odds, but in the sense of visibility and the overworld sprites having an indication of shiny status. I would love and odd increase but not a 1:120 or whatever chances it is from outbreaks 😂 it’s too easy (at least before the daybreak patch).
@@MavisXe yea same, i would love the shiny odds to be like 1 in 500 because then there is at least a high possibility you get at least one in your playthrough. i also hope the sprites are shiny in the overworld like legends arceus and lgpe!

What a long hunt, congrats! I'm working on a shiny living dex (not including exclusive space time distortion spawns at the moment), and I think I found 10 male Combee before I found one female, I feel your pain 😅 Shiny alpha Gliscor might be a cool one to go for next 😊

Decided to watch some PLA shiny vids while hunting massive mass outbreaks, in one MMO I came home with a shiny alpha Ninetales, shiny Magby, Happiny. Also a random full odds Electabuzz! Thanks for the luck lol

The first shiny Rapidash is so remarkably small!!! I wonder if it's the smallest a Rapidash can get, it's just barely taller than the Ponyta you put it next to!

Whats the difference between a “phase” and a reset. Can you make a tutorial on how you shiny hunt in this game because I just save at camp run around and then leave and come back
I think a phase is just the number of random shinies you find. And a reset is just going back to town.

My second shiny in PLA was a Golbat. I was so excited because Crobat is one of my favorites! I immediately worked on getting his friendship up, grit trained him, and made him a permanent squad member.

Just starting playing PLA for the first time a few nights ago. And I gotta say these vids and other vids like this from other creators have helped keep my early game hunts smooth without me just getting bored. First shiny I went for was a wurmple for the guard dude, ended up being a 2 phase hunt because I got a full odds starly before the perfected Dex wurmple lol. Took about eight hours in total. Now I’m going for shiny alpha Snorlax with just a completed Dex entry and am currently on phase six. I found a shiny drifloon and then a wurmple in back to back runs, and then over time found a bidoof, then shinx and finally another starly. I’ve only been actively hunting for the Snorlax for about 4 and a half hours in total and am getting back to it here in just a little bit. These vids just make it feel like I’m taking a journey alongside somebody.
Edit: Also I was not expecting to have found seven shinies with about 25 hours on my save. Actually blows my mind and everytime I hear those sparkles it has never failed to get me hyped.
For a little update to any random individual that may see this in the future. First off what’s up. Second off I finally got my 1/2048 shiny alpha Snorlax on phase 20 after 42 in game hours. Caught it in a Gigaton ball and proceeded to clap noble Kleavor’s cheeks with it. Was even a 12.5% chance female spawn that I named Lady so that my original non shiny Snorlax, Gentleman, can now have a girlfriend. On to shiny alpha Scyther for Kleavor, making two shalpha hunts before Crimson Mirelands. Once I’m done here I’ll be going for shiny alpha Ursaring (for Ursaluna) and Sliggoo (for Hisuian Goodra). Yes, I am a masochist.

I did this hunt as well and it only took me 15 resets and 1 phase. My cat jumped up on my lap and I immediately got a shiny alpha herrecross female! I really wanted it to be adamant so I checked and guess what? IT WAS ADAMANT. My best and favorite shiny in Arceus.
This entire vid reminds me of the times I accidentally found shinies just by moving to a certain location one time and I never Ben there before lol!

Man, some people are so patient. In my main profile, I have 4 shinies total after hundreds of hours. Shinx, bidoof, silcoon, and an alpha luxray. Every hunt I've tried for specific pokemon just never ends up going anywhere. It's great to see other people actually have some luck.

Pokemon can talk to npcs too- but you cannot throw the Pokémon directly at it, but you can at the feet :)

As I was watching this, I was hunting the Alpha Infernape on Ramanas Island. I took a detour to the coastlands for a Skorupi outbreak and ended up getting a random shiny Tangela lol

That's crazy, I wish I had a shiny alpha Mothim :') Currently trying to get a shalpha Gligar using the new reset method and only got 2 regular ones, awesome. I perfected its dex and I have the shiny charm. I want it so badly 😪

Hey I have a question, what does the phase counter mean and does the reset counter mean the ammount of times you re-entered and area? or does it mean how many times you restarted the game to refresh the area?
Awesome I got shiny alpha gardevoir, steelix, electivire, and rhyperior from the new alpha soft reset method and a shiny alpha golem while I was perfecting golem dex entire.
I’m doing this same kind of shiny hunt but for alpha lopunny. I’m on phase 37… hopefully, similar to u, mine is coming up

I got a shiny shinx near the beginning of the game once. I named him Golden Boi and beat the game with him 😊. Shiny shinx since then is and always will be my favorite shiny!

I actually got my second Alpha Shiny yesterday! It’s a Shellos. I’m not evolving it because Gastrodon’s shiny is lame. Plus, I already have my Alpha Shiny Dustox in my team.

The first shiny I ever found on my switch was a shiny ponyta, it ran away but now I have 82 shiny pokemon and Ponyta is one of them!

If I could say one thing, totally meant in the spirit of constructive criticism, but after you've caught one of a shiny, I personally don't think you need to put it on the team and take it out of the ball (thinking of the 6 or 7 combees lol). I think at that point looking at it in the summary screen during the nature guess is all we need to see... makes the videos unnecessarily long, and I find myself skipping ahead
