    I’m considering this (Ergo Metro+ Deluxe) and the Bugaboo Butterfly for my smaller side 18mo old. The stroller would mainly be used for around town, staying in my vehicle as a compact stroller. The occasional flight, maybe once or twice a year. Not taking into account cost, since they’re in a similar price range. Also, which of the two has better upright sitting? Thank you!!

    • @thestrollermom

      The metro probably has slightly, and I mean slightly better upright seating.

    Great video! I ended up getting this stroller and wanted to say that the adapters for the Nuna are a one-time install with the screwdriver. After that, the adapters just slide on and off like any other adapter/stroller combo. You can also keep the seat halfway on and not take it all off to use the car seat and its adapters. Not as convenient as other strollers in this regard, but having a full recline and being able to fit overhead compartments were key features for me!

    • @thestrollermom
      @thestrollermom  Před 3 měsíci

      That is a great point on the screws! I do love the full flat recline for this stroller! You also have to take the seat off for the Minu...I hope someday both of these strollers make updates to allow car seat use with the seats fully attached.

      @@alc4970 You have to remove them sadly :(

    • @holyshipballs
      @holyshipballs Před 2 měsíci +1

      @@alc4970 the adapters have to be removed to fold. But they click on an off like many other stroller/car seat combos. The part you have to screw in is like a pre-adapter. So you have the stroller, screw in pre-adapter (one time install) and then the click on adapter and then the car seat.

    Super informative video! I love how you talk about the little ‘inconveniences’ about each stroller that you’ve tested. A lot of the little things don’t come up after really using the stroller for a while. And knowing it beforehand could really help consumers weigh the pros and cons to make an informed decision.
    I have the yo-yo but I really like some other strollers which have the full recline option for a toddler as well. I was also not impressed by yo-yo’s ability to stroll on slightly uneven (but still urban) road. I’m curious to your thought on the suspension of the compact strollers and if there’s any that stands out. But I understand that since they are compact strollers, they don’t compare to the big guys with huge wheels 😂

    • @thestrollermom
      @thestrollermom  Před 10 měsíci +1

      I am so happy to hear that you appreciate that too! I know it can seem crazy calling out so many little things, but I would rather know before making such a purchase!
      On the suspension, it's hard. Maybe the Nuna TRVL, but the weaker frame still makes it not perfect. I actually feel like that is one area the yoyo is fairly strong in, but like you said it's still not great.

    • @mollyss02
      @mollyss02 Před 5 měsíci

      I do plan on having more but for now just the one. Yes, mostly for travel and running errands since we already have the other stroller. We will be going on a cruise so that was my main reason for looking into a compact stroller. Our current Nuna Tavo also takes up a lot of trunk space, when doing our weekly Costco run. Other features I’d like is compatibility with the Nuna car seat as well. But mostly comparing size when folded.

  • @HalfAssedDisneyMama
    @HalfAssedDisneyMama Před 9 měsíci +1

    How is the “upright” sit with this. My 3 year old does not need to be buckled, but my 19 months is a 100,000% flight risk. He likes to sit up tall, he also is my stroller sleeper so I like the near full recline of this. We have the Joovy Kooper RS (which I love) but the sit isnt fully upright like he likes (not an issue for my 3 year old since she isnt strapped in).

    • @thestrollermom
      @thestrollermom  Před 9 měsíci +1

      The bumper bar defiantly helps with that for your 19 month old because they can hold themselves up more when seated. I have a 20 month old and it's okay. She doesn't really complain about it. It's not my favorite upright seat, but also not as bad as some like the Yoyo2 (I would avoid for the seat alone..). I think you would be happy with the recline for naps and I love the added airflow on this stroller.

      I went and tested out the Silver cross Jet at Nordstrom, and I will say it does have some unique features, but I probably would go with the Ergo Metro because of the basket! Hi! I found your review so helpful. I’m stuck between the Metro+/ Deluxe, Aer+, Butterfly…also the Kinderkraft Nubi2 which I quite like but find the materials might be a bit lower quality. (Would love for youvto review that one too!)
      My toddler is 2, baby is 2m so I love that this has a bassinet option. Toddler takes stroller naps, so the recline is important. I live in Barcelona but go everywhere by car so taking it in and out of the car is why I’m charging to this type of stroller - done with the bigger one!

    Can you do a comparison of babyzen yoyo2, ergobaby metro+ and Joolz Aer+ as well specifically on:
    1/Ease of fold
    2/Seat incline. I have heard that the babyzen yoyo2 does not really sit up well and causing toddlers to lean back further than intended. Also does the lay flat recline benefit older kids for napping etc?
    3/ Overall build comparison - is it a smooth ride on pavement/pavers etc. Does it bounce too much for a new born?
    4/ Comfort for the kid and ease of use between multiple aged kids.
    We are first time parents and just bought the babyzen yoyo2 (not opened yet). Wondering if we should purchase the newborn pack vs swap it with the ergo metro+ deluxe as we are planning to be traveling with our baby starting 3 months onwards and hoping it will last a long time.

      @thestrollermom  Před 3 měsíci +3

      I would go with Metro or Joolz over the Yoyo! The Yoyo is just in need of some updates.
      1. Best fold = 1st. Joolz Aer+ 2nd. Metro 3rd. yoyo
      2. Seat Incline = Toss up between Joolz and Metro - YoYos is bad...
      3. They all are pretty similar. All three are very well made w/good reinforcements throughout. They are not super smooth on pavers (but no travel stroller really is).
      4. Joolz is nicer for use with car seat adapters... The Metro just added a rider board and with its handlebar extension I think it will be better than the Joolz Rider board. I hated using that. The Yoyo has a cool second seat attachment that they sell. Yoyo does not have adjustable harnesses which is annoying if you are trying to use it with a toddler and a baby. What else do you want to know? I did just get a discount code for the metro+ and added it to the description if you end up going with it.
