Yes, that is a big red flag!

That's true. Primarily they do it like that to avoid answering what was asked first.

Wow, I love being cooperative and I always try to get a bird’s eye view of any situation I’m in. The one person I know that lies is my mama and she will do all the things you mentioned, detachment, discredit, and be vague with information, but also, she is very dismissive.
I personally hate lying, (I know you might find this very immature) I have the mentality of a gamer, I believe if I lied, I already failed. I don’t like the stress that comes with trying to undo a lie just so I feel like I’m worthy to pass (the mission). And video games have many ways they can test you, and it always feels inconsequential when you deceive, but the always comes a moment when the game reveals to you who you are.
So, I think of life the same way, not that it’s a game, but that if I lie, how will it reveal myself to me 😅.

Lying, especially when it comes from someone close like your mama is challenging to navigate. It's not immature at all to hate lying! That is a sign of integrity and self-awareness. Your commitment to honesty, even when faced with situations where lying might seem easier is impressive. Keep embracing your values and stay true to yourself; it inspires people around you. I know you inspire me!
      Thank you for sharing!

Yes unraveled my whole divorce lie that happened 29 years ago. Yep he thought he was clever but the way God made the truth come out of his mouth then I called him on it and showed him he is a chronic liar. No more being cordial with him. He lied to make himself feel better.

Hi Helena. I know someone is a liar when they don't pay any attention to me unless I'm helping them do something.

What if this character trait is seen in a Superior in Corporate America setting? To be more exact what if its someone, one reports to?

This is common in corporate. Once you recognize it, handle it accordingly. Do your job and detach yourself from their opinions. Personally, I would look for other opportunities.

One thing I hate is liars. I sense when people are lying. I become overly angry when I know a person is lying and they won't admit it.
