How To Put Jeep Cherokee Into Wheel Alignment Mode | Jeep Air Suspension Wheel Alignment.

2014 and up Jeep Cherokee with air suspension require to be put into wheel alignment mode I. Order to correctly align the car. In this video I will show you how to access that setting.

I just had a wheel alignment done on my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and I doubt the guy knew about this. What happens if this step is skipped?

Does the car have to be running during alignment

My 2016 summit has been chewing the outside of my front tyres and I'm on my 3rd set of tyres with vehicle being on only 50k km.
I highly doubt the Allignment technician know about wheel Allignment mode

The Trailhawk doesn't have "Air Suspension"

It depends, do you have it set up to go into entry mode when shut off? I turned that feature off on mine. So technically it would have been at ride height which is where it should be to do the alignment.....

mine does not have that option. and it puts the car in park whenever the car is turned off or the door is opened. cant perform alignment

No it doesn’t. To do that you have to remove the center console shift plate trim and pull on the red tab to put into neutral

It does not have to be running or the key on. It will stay in wheel alignment mode until you uncheck the box. I left one on the rack over the weekend and even pulled the key fob out of it. When I returned the next work day, and checked the suspension setting, it was still in wheel alignment mode.
