Well to be fair, Superman could take him on forever, he just realized them continuously fighting was going to result in more civilain deaths and destruction. So Superman decided to let Hulk beat him so he got his anger out.

What's interesting is that I think that this Hulk is actually LEARNING as he fights, in addition to becoming stronger. When the fight starts, he's just mindlessly attacking like an animal, but as the fight goes on, and he becomes angrier and more powerful, he actually starts blocking and countering Saitama's attacks, picking up on his patterns. It's very interesting, and something I don't think we've ever seen from Hulk before.
Well it seems like a reasonable assumption to make, given the comics.

Someone said it before, but this is canon if you consider it to be Saitama's second dream of fighting a worthy foe.
I dont personally think Hulk would be a worthy foe for Saitama. Not atleast the MCU's. Infact not even the strongest MCU heroes or villains even compare to Saitama's. Even Boros from One Punch Man universe would be a lot for MCU characters given the difference in power scale. The only supervillain or hero I think which could make a tough fight against Saitama would be Superman or someone from DCU (I'm not too much into DCU) who imo too would only make a good fight but lose eventually. Hulk had a lot of potential in the comics but MCU nerfed him waaaay too much. Especially in movies like End Game where he was just a big fat joke. I loved Hulk's concept, character design and story but the more Hulk is included in new gen MCU's, the more I lose respect and now I just feel pity for such this character.

@@jaysorto2497 yes and thats what makes OPM unique and one of its kind. At the moment I'm too tired of the cliché mainstream animes and manga going on like One Piece, Kimetsu no Yaiba, Jujutsu Kaisen, Black Clover which are all just too same and there's nothing new to it. Its just today's audience which never gets bored with the same cliché shonen animes which start with a not too strong but high spirited main character which is usually dumb but has some weird distinguishable powers. It was this reason I switched from action to slice of life and rom-com animes which all had some uniqueness and wholesomeness to it which could warm my corrupted heart. But then I discovered One Punch Man. I found the 1st 2 episodes absolutely ridiculous and dropped it immediately to only come back to it after a few months and giving it another try when I was very hooked to the show and its uniqueness. I never thought such an uninteresting protagonist could make up to such an outstanding show. I could never predict what would happen in the show and just rooted for every other characters other than Saitama and was a completely unique experience. One is a great author and if you know One's story you'd know he aint a talented artist but a crappy one so its all because of the writing skills OPM is where it is today. OPM is one of the most popular anime franchises and even has a live action.
If it weren't for the art and illustration I dont think most of the popular animes and mangas today would be such a hit but would've gotten cancelled quickly. OPM and Saitama are very well written if y'all could accept the fact your favourite shonen animes and mangas are just stories which had been already told countless times before

He has regeneration as well, not to mention, this might have been world breaker hulk, and he’s one of the deadliest hulks to fights

The only thing I can't agree with is that Saitama might have a broken arm. According to the manga, he can even experience a reality change and see the Big Bang with his own eyes.
