- This week we talk about how we afford full time van life as a family. We are answering the questions you asked us.
We're a full time van life family of 5, travelling around Europe & the UK having motorhome adventures.
We also talk about;
How do we educate our home school / road school kids.
How much did 3 months in Europe cost us?
Why did we do full time van life
PLUS other questions too.
We'd love you to be part of a full time van life journey, even if it's only from a distance.
You can even buy us a coffee, the kids a cup of tea, or Bella the dog a treat:

Great Q&A.
To be honest ,I like the way you're doing thing now.
I feel ,I'm just tagging along with the family.Seeing places that I will probably never visit.
You always make it educational, personal and fun.
So keep doing what you're doing , it's great đ
Looking forward to your next adventures.
Take care & love to all đ
Thatâs great Pam, thatâs kind of what we wanted, so pleased you feel that way. Thanks for all your support with comments too, it certainly makes things more enjoyable knowing it entertains and educates đ«¶
Great Vid guys!! Love the insight.. Cmon Craig we know who your boss is. đ
Looking forward to your new adventures.
Definitely more cooking Vids from Chef James. đšâđł New places and maybe Isa can rate the different icecreams from different countries. We love the Beer videos to đș.đ
Thanks. Hmmm....yep, Lesley is the boss for sure lol - Yes, now we are back in the UK and normal food is more available, he will def be doing some. Ok, its a deal. You look after Ysa after she goes crazy on too much icecream and we will get her more haha - as for the beer, we hear you, so will do more haha
Love the vids. James cooking etc. Just keep safe n enjoy life. Fab seeing all the places n making notes for future travels myself.
Thanks Vicky, thatâs great to hear. Weâll be having James doing some more cooking now weâre back in the UK. Hope your travel plans are going well and that the home schooling is working out for you đ«¶
@@roadschooladventures looking forward to the vids. Yeah home schooling going well going reaseheath college 2 days a week in Sept to do land management. Plans slow n furrow!!
sounds great, glad it's going well
Hi guys. The socialisation question about home ed drives me mad haha. As if we are living in a cave not speaking to anybody because we home ed!
My eldest is about to turn 18 and we pulled her from school at 15. She hasn't done her GCSEs but is in college doing the course of her choice. My middle one though, she wants to do them so she'll be doing them at some point.
It sounds like Ysa is like my youngest, she doesn't like learning through being at a desk, she's a hands-on learner and I'm focused on reading and writing too at the moment.
I would love to do what you are doing one day, hoping to find a way of doing it. You are definitely living the dream. I love watching day to day life and adventures so if you show things like that, that would be a bonus. I'm really enjoying what I'm seeing at the moment from you though.
Have a great week! Stacey xxx
Thanks Stacey 𫶠Great to hear that your daughter still had the opportunity to make her own choice after not following the pre-set exam route the majority follow.
Isnât fun having kids with different styles. Tiring, but fun to know theyâre all different.
Thanks. I think weâll probably keep to the adventures as much as we can, but we realise that everyday life and especially van life can be helpful and interesting, so weâre going to bring in more of that đ«¶
I believe I suggested putting the W3W on screen...LOL, I personally like van life stuff, van issues and fixes, park-ups and yes even the laundry rather than the touristy stuff, yes I'm probably on my own with that preference lol, but its your channel so whatever you do I will watch it...Iv booked my ferry for my winter trip, I love France so probably back down to Montignac for 85 days, I leave 16th Jan from Portsmouth to Caen
Yes, I think you might be right actually đ Takes us a while to get round to things đ Weâre going to do a mixture of things going forward. Not overload on one or the other, but realise that information is just as important as entertainment. Wow, youâll be counting the days down now then and focussing on that during the winter days. Weâll most likely do France in January on route to and from Spain and Portugal to see family and friends
@@roadschooladventures But going to Vera in Southern Spain is still an option tooâŠ
it'll be hot hot hot down there, but better than wet and windy uk lol
@@roadschooladventures well Iâm my mate it was down there last winter said it was about 22° on average per day, but Iâm not a heat lover so I might just go back to the south of France where itâs a bit cooler, but you never know.. lol
fun and relaxation to be had either way, enjoy :-)
