AK47 Republic is my all time favourite set of rules and this video coincides with a reawakening of my interest. I have been watching a lot of movies set in modern African conflicts recently and looking at my lead pile wondering what to paint up before enjoying another game. Thanks for fuelling my enthusiasm a little further.
I watched Dogs of War for the first time yesterday, which was rubbish but it got me in the mood. Actually, your own videos have influenced how I did this one, so thanks to you too!
@@billygoatwargaming5643 So far I have re-watched 'The Dogs of War','The Wild Geese', 'The Mercenaries', 'Blood Diamond', 'Tears of the Sun' and 'Black Hawk Down'. 'The Dogs of War' is certainly the worst but I still enjoyed it (got more from it than the last viewing). Next up I intend to re-watch 'The Battle for Algiers' which is a more thoughtful film rather than an action movie but worthy of attention.
@@billygoatwargaming5643 I'd not heard of that film which is becoming increasingly the case with film releases nowadays as I don't subscribe to any streaming services and lots of things therefore pass me by. I have ordered it on DVD from Amazon - thanks for the recommendation.
I've always been so tempted by this setting. Endless possibilities. Looks like fun. I love the statue.
Thank you Aaron. I trust you're well?

@@RalphAstleyBeast of No Nation is the most AK47 film I have seen. Blood Diamonds is one of my favourites.

Good game Sean, you have built up a great collection of models for the game.
Thank you 👍
Smashing report this, Sean - lovely job!
Many thanks!
Cracking game mate, really need to roll out the forces of Nootu again sometime soon, it’s been far too long 😉👍
Cheers Steve!
Good to see some AK action. Did you film on your phone and, if so, what did you use for the editing? Power Director?
Hi Dex. Yes all on my phone using Power Director - the free version.
