Nike Custom Air Jordan 1 Mid Light Blue | How to Paint your Shoes Easily Simple Step by Step Guide! (Make your own custom Air Jordan 1 at home!) 🎨 💙
Things that were used in the video:
- Nike Air Jordan 1 Mid
- 100% pure acetone
- Cotton balls, Q-tips
- Angelus 9"X11" multi-purpose wet sandpaper (not shown in video)
- Paints: Angelus Acrylic white, Mist, Purple + Leather Studio's Navy
- Flat 4-Coat finisher (Angelus)
- Paint brushes (different sizes including micro paint brush)
- Optional: Master Airbrush (Used to spray protective finisher on shoes)

In this video we wanted to show how simple it could be to make your own Custom Air Jordan 1 Mid at home. In the end, we did use an airbrush to spray a few coats of Angelus Flat 4-coat finisher to protect the paint from scratches and peeling. *Spraying the finisher is not required as it can be applied by hand. We also used sandpaper during the prepping process. Along with the acetone it's recommended to sand your shoes, this extra step helps improve adhesion, or smoothing out a rough surface.
**We prefer to spray paint our shoes, but it’s not a requirement. We simply believe we can achieve a more smoother finish/result doing it this way. Please let us know what you think in the comments!! Which shoes should we customize next?
