Footage of a Convention of the U.S.-based Nation of Islam (NOI) held in Accra, Ghana. The leader of NOI, Louis Farrakhan met with Ghanaian President Jerry Rawlings outside of the conference centre prior to its start.
In his speech, Farrakhan called for solidarity among Africans on the continent and elsewhere. He said that it was fitting to hold the convention in the first Black African country to attain independence and that it was a "homecoming" for the 600 delegates.

I don't really remember the year Farrakhan came to Ghana, but in 1995, I was in Accra looking for means of joining the army.
That was the height of JJ Rawlings regime.
I saw late RSM Tetteh opening the door for JJ. He was his ADC. He died under mysterious circumstances.

Not only them. Rawlings’ daughter was sent to Ireland to become a doctor (nothing wrong with that if only she’d practiced it afterwards). Now she’s sitting in Ghana’s parliament even after it was revealed that she’d never even registered as a voter in our own country. This is the exact same thing Rawlings railed against when he first came to power. And now he’s quiet.

Some of us actually come back and stay. In fact there are many who come once and never go back to America!
In truth, America stands in the way of black and brown people progress. We have to wait until Allah breaks the power of America before any progress can be attained. As America power is being broken as I write this text. You have to know scriptures. Blacks had to suffer the 400 years of brutalization of the white man and we withstood it. God said He will come as He is here raining down destruction on America through His host of judgements…. Winds, rain, floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, hail, snow and earthquakes. America is doomed. Her money is doomed. Rich white Americans and European are now “asking” Africans for their natural gas and resources. Which reminds me of the Bible Lazarus. Lazarus was a poor man and a beggar lying at the foot of the rich man’s table, begging not for a loaf of bread but for the crumbs that fell from his table. But in the Bible the scene changes. The rich man is in hell and Lazarus is in the bosom of Abraham . If you read scriptures correctly, you’ll see everything clearer of what going on in today’s world. Blacks in Africa and the diaspora will be fine. We were the ones who was taken advantage of by Satan’s children. The peace breakers and the blood shedder. Allah will take care all of it.
