I find this routine similar to soldatova’s 2018 ribbon, maybe it’s because of the music. She has to improve it anyway. She and her sister will find their own style until 2020
des Quefy Ditaya Sasha is elegant and soft, she looks like she is just one thing with what she does. If she’s having problems in the last two years it doesn’t mean that she works less hard than the twins or that people have the right of hating on her. Until 2016 everyone loved her, she just has the bad luck of being the third Russian gymnast. If a gymnast has a slow music doesn’t mean that she has the same style of everyone else. Here I’m talking about movements. I always find Averina’s routine similar between them and to other Russians. That doesn’t mean that I don’t recognize the level of difficulty of their routines. On the opposite, I always say when a routine is difficult even if it’s not from a “famous” gymnast. Of course this was the first time I saw this routine (one month ago) and now I’m going to see it again in Pesaro and see if it gives me different feelings. What you are talking about is school style, for example Vlada N. has the style of the Ukrainian school (and it’s getting a little boring that they use the same musics over and over again), but that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t express her feelings. Linoy A. is powerful and original. Look Averinas are classic Russian school, nothing different, but to me they are starting looking less like robots and more like human just now, maybe since last year, and they competed for a lot of years. It felt like I was going to see eight routines of the same gymnast. But that’s just an opinion on what I see. RG is like this, is not objective is a subjective sport. In conclusion my comment WASN’T a negative one but a positive because they are improving a lot! And I hope to see great routines at the olympics !! 😉
I liked this best from Dina ribbons. Music, grace, choreo. It almost felt like a choreo made for Arina but with more ribbon touching partsss.
