Crowds gather at Stonehenge to watch the summer solstice sunrise

Crowds of observers gathered at Stonehenge on the morning of June 21 to watch the summer solstice sunrise.
According to the Guardian, “pagans, healers, nature lovers and party-goers” flocked in their thousands to the site, after COVID-19 restrictions had impacted festivities in 2020 and 2021.

We had about 40 people at the Standing Stones in Glen Innes, NSW, Australia. It was great! Cold as....of course, our mid-winter. A glorious strong pink sky, mist heavy in the valleys. Our "new" stones standing proud.
