Ambua - Your Perch in the Corbett is a nice home stay with beautiful surroundings. The lush green hills and a stream of water flowing near the hills makes it a fantastic place to stay in a tranquil environment. The care taker at the home stay was very hospitable, he cooked delicious food for us just like we eat at home. On the way to the homestay we also visited Girija Devi temple, due to rainy season the hills and the way through the forest looked fantastic. Take a tour of the homestay.

I really need to get out to India. Mainly for the food. Every time you do a video and showcase the food in your country it has me salivating. Beautiful countryside. A temple surrounded by a river. Does that get dicey during a monsoon season? What to you is the biggest difference between a homestay and a hotel? I love those views from the deck. A home cooked meal? Amazing. Talk about a scary end to the trip. Glad y'all made it out alright.

When it rains heavy, it does get a bit dicey as the water level increases. One of the difference between the hotel and home stay is the food, at homestay one gets food just like at home, second is that pretty much the entire place is for you. Thanks

The place itself is adventurous. The homestay is located in nice place giving a good view from balcony. It gives a homely atmosphere. Great rafting option.

homestays are a great sort of place to stay, you get a real feel for the area and region, meeting friendly locals. Despite the weather the bridge and rive look beautiful with the temple in the middle! the mountains surrounding it make it a wonderful location to escape the city! Wow you had some bad weather! Great place to go and spend some time with friends, and the weather maybe wasn't perfect, but the clouds add something to the view as well!

You always find great places to eat. That place you all stopped for breakfast along the way had a nice variety of options. This was a great place to getaway from the city even it did rain all weekend. And omg crossing that road with all that water on it was scary. I don’t know if my car would’ve made it.
