I don't like to point fingers, but I noticed that some perfume influencers hunt down limited edition/discontinued fragrances and hype them up like crazy on their social media, to later sell ("declutter") them at a higher price point. Part of me thinks it's just a matter of trade, another part cannot accept that they use their platforms in a dishonest manner.
I think that’s horrible to manipulate the basic economics of supply and demand! I’m not a fan of paying exorbitant pricing on discontinued frags. There are way too many good ones out there.
Declutters just make room for all the new fragrances that are coming out in my opinion! Hope they all sell quickly!

You’ve been really good at down sizing this past year. I have more bottles in my declutter box. But my video was getting so long 😅 That’s the only reason I stopped 😂 So I *have* to do another declutter video.

It’s good to declutter sometimes. I have a few duplicates that I’m thinking of getting rid of too, I don’t think I’ll get through them. You’ve decluttered some beautiful fragrances, whoever gets them will be super lucky ❤️

Light Blue Forever was my scent of last Summer! 💙☀️ It's unusual for me, but gorgeous. 🍊 I've been wearing it a bit in the Winter for an uplift! I want the scent of this Summer to be Tiziana Terenzi Cassiopea. 😍

So my question is it worth going through Bater overseas. How much are the bottles. Maxaroma is charging $250 which I think the fragrance is worth and is truly amazing. But let me know what you paid for a bottle I might buy 2 fragrances.

Hi Greta👋 watching this I think I should declutter some of mine too, but knowing me, as soon as I get rid of it, I will want it even though I have'nt touch it in years😅. Plus I got rid of all the original boxes and not sure if I can handle people and the trouble that come with some of them🤣
You don’t need the boxes to sell. It costs more to ship with boxes, so many people don’t want it. I threw a bunch of boxes away when I learned that, and only heat the high end ones.
If you’re worried about FOMO, keep a decant for yourself. I doubt you look back with regret 😀 you’re always shopping like me 😂
Yeah, the headache and low balling can be a major drag 🥺 counterfeiters in the mix always bring the prices down

Hi. With such a huge collection, does that mean you are an over sprayer? Do you spray on skin or clothes or both? How many sprays do you use? Do you reapply? Will you ever finish a bottle do you think?

My journey has been interesting, in the beginning I hated Byredo and Le Labo and I’m like hauling and loving 🥰 🥰 both brands these days, wearing Eleventh Hour now, it’s the best clove scent.
I really want Mashumaro and Vanis Charnel, I’m looking forward on seeing your new pick ups! (Btw Primera de Marbella reminds me of Cavort and Santa Complet mixed, I’m really enjoying it!)

@@sibyl999 Primera Kuwait is the brand, Greta came back from scentxplore with a few bottles and the bought more and her shipment just came in so we’re waiting for her to review Primera Kuwait 🤤 one of her subs was talking about Lion Oud being the best he’s ever smelled, so naturally I was curious :) there was a sale a maxaroma so I bought Primera lion oud and de Marbella. Lion oud reminds of the chocolate oud style in Strangelove NYC melt my heart (which is like $750) and de Marbella immediately reminded me of FdB Santal complet. I think I paid $180 ea and I’m really enjoying them 🤗 🙌
Also… I recently downsized my collection and sold about 100 bottles on Mercari. It was a total pain and of course I lost a fortune but I’m happy to get rid of them! I still think it’s the best place to sell considering but it has changed a lot like you mentioned!

Prices are suppressed because it’s mixed with counterfeits that push it down. I learned that the hard way
I'm only 2:18 seconds into the video, but as a new buyer on Mercari, I can't believe how someone gave me only three stars because I didn't rate them in time. I was traveling over the holidays and I got home three days after their package had been delivered, so I'm not going to mark it as having been received, opened and all good when I haven't even seen it. I now realize that sellers don't get paid until I rate it, but that just seems like added stress for me. I travel a lot and don't take these things too seriously, but I suppose that person *really* needed their $18 payout that instant! Now, as a new seller there (I've been selling on other platforms for decades), I have to deal with so many low ball offers that it can feel offensive and insulting. I already price to sell, and it's always SUPER cheap and far below the value that others have assigned. It's so annoying!
I refuse those lowball offers, in fact I refuse to use Mercari because of that and because they take such a huge cut.
But EBay charges you monthly for your listings. I did that years ago.

I never tried MFK Aqua Universalis Forte. I looked it up and noticed two versions of Eau de Parfum but one is marked 'Cologne Forte'. What is the difference?

I fortunately haven’t had any trouble buying or selling on mercari, or buying on eBay. Of course I wouldn’t be buying and selling the volume that you are though.
I only buy from retailers. I need to be certain I am reviewing authentic pieces.

I love Mango Skin, find it classy and delicious, but Poets of Berlin made me gag when I tested it! And I have another one- The Oud Affair, which I haven't worn yet..
I get 90% of my fragrances from Ebay, and I sell there too, but I dislike Mercari. I believe they charge more for using their service.. I never have problems with fakes nor with people scamming my products..
Have you sold Onyx yet? I could maybe take it off your hands.. maybe you can just sell right here!

I wanted to love Vilhelm perfumes. I’ve sampled several and they don’t work for me, even out of the bottle….

I prefer Dear Polly over Mango Skin, but the overall Vilhelm Parfumerie house is mediocre to me. I prefer Orza over Telea, and I don't care for Tibit either. Tiziana Terenzi is waaaaay over priced w/unnecessary packaging and lighting effects. It should be optional for an additional cost. For a gift "maybe", but for myself "NO". I tend to steer away from any perfumes that contain Oud/Tobacco, because they tend to lean more masculine and over power the fragrance. The only oud perfumes I can tolerate are MFK Oud Satin Mood, and Oud Orange Intense by Fragrance Du Bois.
🙌🏻🤍 To everything except Oud Satin Mood. That smells like Oud and Saccharin on me. No violet or rose and just plain nauseating.
But agree whole heartedly on everything else!

Bader took a liking to me so I was thinking of buying my favorite Lion Oud which honestly I wore 3 times so far with the 5ml sample and got at least 30 compliments. And 2nd being either Smokey Jazz , or Amber Vanilla.
