And I joined not because I didn't have anything else better to do, but because I value military service. To this young man; I normally advocate for young people to stay with their parents for as long as possible. But in his case, I’d pick up and leave home as quickly as he can. If his father or another male relative is in his life, I would say he should go live with them. His mom will destroy him eventually.
I joint the military to get away from my mom as well and learned a lot through my 10 years of service and travel because my mom was the same as that woman fast forward I m traveling the world and my mother is in a nursing home we don’t talk and she’s begged me to talk to her since got dementia over it.
