…always been a fan of those over the top absurdities specially if paired with sardonically filled characters that gets portrayed effectively by someone out of left field. So glad you enjoyed Mars Attack!s! Most Americans don’t mix well with Satire. I on the other hand adore Mars Attacks! With that cast what’s not to love plus it was Sylvia Sidney’s last movie. Oh yes, that blonde temptress and her gum chewing was divine.

Sylvia Sidney stole every scene she was in! Classic movie and thanks for your comment

Me & my friends saw 1941 in the theater when it came out and thought it was hilarious. We were 12. I saw it again with one of those friends. Dad got it on tape when it came out, watched it over & over again. Not as much as JAWS, but a lot. It’s a comedy classic, almost as good as It’s A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.
Mars Attacks, on the other hand, sucked. Tim Burton is overrated as hell. And the so-called “stars” mostly sucked. It wasn’t campy, at all. That’s why it bombed.

I agree with you when it comes to Tim Burton being overrated. Man hasn't made a decent movie in over 20 years.

I do not care one whit what you or anyone else says, I love these 2 movies. I bought both of them so I can re-watch them any time I so choose. And critics are just very stupid people who's opinions matter not one bit. I never listen to what they say. I will DECIDE FOR MY SELF!! So there!! Pfhhhhht!!

I'm actually praising and defending the two titles, but you do you!
