I just got a brand new Gibson SG HP 2017, I couldn't resist but to play some AC/DC!! Hope you enjoy it! (I used a backing track taken from the live version, here's the link to the file if you want it!

Mark Cheetah This is the Gibson 2017 HP (High Performance). Those come standard with the strap button on the top horn. The current Gibson SG with the same features is called either the HP, or Modern. Can’t remember which now. The only problem is that the new ones that have the ultra modern features also no longer come in classic colors like cherry red, or solid black or white. They only come in weird blue or grey metallic colors. I hope this helps.

I got GibsonSG from early 80. This guitar i still use on live shows-sounds perfect.
I love these videos that people post! Really helps me after 2 years of learning I don't need the method of place your 3rd finger on the 4th fret 5th string. I'm at the point where it's easier to watch a close up of somebody else playing 👍

Danilo: Stunning SG but see how long you can put up with the G-force tuning system. I have a 2015 SG with it and I've had enough of it. Never had the G string in tune yet so it's into the tech this month to replace it with locking tuners.
I’ve actually replaced it myself 2 weeks ago, I had enough too, I put on a set of Kluson, 15 minutes and it was done, much better now!

After the intro and the chorus, you have to play that first thing 2 times, and then do the same on a a-chord haha
Put the speed to 0.75, you'll get the original BPM of the song ^^

Thank you, it’s a 2017 SG HP, I don’t remember how much it costs, I think around 1.5k (The song is how they play it live, that’s why it’s faster than the CD track)

Question for Gibson SG Standard owners - why does my G string always sound out of tune? And why does it all sound so horrible when I play a D chord? Thank you for any help! For context: I have a 2017 left handed Gibson SG Standard.
Provided that you have set the intonation at the bridge correctly, the most likely causes of poor intonation on the G string are that the string breakpoint on the nut is in the wrong position, or your frets are badly worn.

Real good but extremely fast and tone is just a small bit too muddy. The tiniest bit. Sounds really good though but you played it a little bit faster! Also GIBSON SG IS THEEEE CLASSIC ROCK GUITAR!ITS PERFECT!
