Reasons for Arsenal's downfall:
- Moving to the Emirates
- Selling all our best players without signing proper replacements
- Bottling the league title every year from 2006 to 2016
- Wenger staying beyond his good years
- Becoming a feeder club to the Manchester clubs around the 2010s
- AFTV and the rise of social media
On a positive note, it's good that we're finally starting to look like we're back on track and have an exciting young team, and a coach that the players look up to. Hopefully we get top 4 this year and by the next few years, we'll be back competing for titles!

@@temiomo-loto4122 because it gave off a bad impression of how the club was. If you don't know, there was a scandal involving Arsenal and AFTV in 2017, and they had to change their name from ArsenalFanTV to AFTV. And given the rise of social media, AFTV was making a meal of our downfall, when really it's nothing compared to how other teams have fallen from grace in the past. There's literally a chant which goes: "Arsenal Fan TV, get out of our club!"

arsene knew from the moment they moved to emirates carrying that hude debt, his only goal was to ensure champions league football every season for that extra revenue. yall expected him to win the league when there was only budget to get ozil and sanchez while city united chelsea were signing 60+m every season for years

Even though I hate Arsenal, I have to admit that they are taking things in the right direction. They have an exciting youthful squad and a manager who has them in the right direction. I think they could challenge for the title once again in a few years time.

You can't say anything about the squad and manager. Only reason they doing so well at the moment is because they have no other competiton other PL matches. They have 1 week gaps . Earlier the problem was that they weren't able to face multiple competitions as a result they got bad results in between good results.

The problem was from poor management, having wrong priorities, poor recruitment style and having absolute worst luck. Moving to Emirates was a part of it but not the major factor, if anything it provided the club with a global identity. Wenger did his best tbh and should have been backed, but his late departure did see the club miss out on some good manager. Wenger did allow leniency certain things which led to the toxic selfish atmosphere.
All in all Arsenal reminds me of a former super model that lives a very poor, sedentary and unhealthy life in a mansion who always reminiscent the good days where it dominated the competition.
It's SO SAD seeing Arsenal like this...

despite all of those downfall, arsenal able to maintain it's financial budget are still admiring. they're not the club who would buy expensive-ready to use player, but able to snatch talented players.
Able to compete againts oil-money clubs are not easy task, but they able to. And the fact that club transition from wenger, though it was painful season happened, the future with arteta & the new management start to look bright.

Whatever, Arteta is doing the best out of all his predecessors and the club in moving in right direction. The owners, board, recruitment policy, man management, tactics, discipline and overall functionality and sustainability of the club is better than ever before. Arteta's arrival has changed this club in much better way.

Arsenal in 2006 were a good club because after that all the players got old the club was under pressure to sign young players and now it is not under pressure it is developing with players such as sakai Smith rowell and gabriel

Arsenal used to be a fun team to watch. but it started to fall apart after 2006. Not untill now under Arteta, Arsenal are being a great side to watch playing football again. I'm a neutral tho, but I like quality footlball and Arsenal are serious challengers for top 4 if they can keep momentum. Ødegaard, Saka and Partey under Arteta this season has been a joy to watch
