Sharper took a "bad angle" because he anticipated the throw being where Chamberlain was actually running to. Had the throw been to that point, Sharper would have broken it up. The throw was probably errant lol, but it worked out for Minnesota.

I remember watching this game along with the other game vs the ravens that Wynn started that year and it was sad...the 2001 vikings was the falling apart of the Denny Green era...the loss in week 1 really set the tone for the year
