    Great Q&A. Appreciate if these could also be included:
    1) Roles of Project Manager vs Roles of Scrum Master - in agile project
    2) Testing (System testing) tasks in Agile vs SDLC. When will the scripts be prepared, who will execute & when ?
    3) Project Management artifacts vs. Scrum Master artifacts

    Fahd states four principles that he works by. Individual interactions are more important than processes and tools. Working product is more important than comprehensive documentation. Customer collaboration is more important than contract negotiation. Responding to change is more important than following a plan.
    Discusses the fact that the Agile PM style delivers incremental value throughout the project rather than a large chunk at the end. In agile teams can self organize and individuals can have multifunctional roles.

  • @backester_singhaman6914

    As a SM I don't agree with a role of PM in agile.. absolutely no room for a PM in agile.. I guess it is more of hybrid interview company going from waterfall to agile
    this should be targeted as suck pm/sm interview not agile pm..
    but none the less I learned something new.. and also was refreshed.

    Great interview... As you mentioned here scrum is a agile methodology but its not. Scrum is a popular framework of agile methodology.

    I am University student, working on task, which is involve with agile project. we were asked to find a IT failed case study. And use agile project to make it work. Do any of know of a case study that is failed traditional method?

    • @satya4uall
      @satya4uall Před 7 lety

      You can have many such examples where in project requirements are not captured accurately in normal traditional-waterfall model where in there are less frequent feedback sessions during the life cycle and most of testing is done at the end, such results are only witnessed at the extreme end of project when 99% of the effort has already been put.
      To resolve such failures, Agile mindset has come into existence as a career path for evolving software professionals where in continuous feedback and frequent release cycles have minimized the risks of failures.
      Hope this helps !

    • @AA-xk1uv
      @AA-xk1uv Před 5 lety

      Can you justify why it should it called a framework and not methodology?

    • @pesilpathirana5302
      @pesilpathirana5302 Před 5 lety +2

      First, we should understand what is Methodology and What is Framework. The methodology is a set of principles and practices which can be used to guide processes while the framework is real or conceptual structure intended to serve as a support or guide for the building of something. Agile is methodology since it provides a set of values and principles to guide software development. Any process which can be aligned with values and principles is Agile and there is no need of a framework for being in Agile. Scrum guide itself encourages to follow the defined structure to practice Scrum. Further, it says if you violate any of the Scrum practices defined by Scrum guide, you are not doing Scrum. The Scrum provides a conceptual structure to developing software as it is a framework. In general, a Methodology is an open boundary process while the framework is a closed boundary.
      Finally, the most important thing is we must ensure Agile values and build an Agile mindset for being Agile rather than doing Agile. If you focus more on the Scrum framework, probably you will be stuck in the closed boundary. (This will leads to doing Agile). To being Agile you must focus more on Agile values and practices.
