Here's the video about "how I pack Etsy orders". Many of you want me to film a video about this, so I just make it! Recently the delivery gradually backs to normal. I think it's a good time to film the package video of my Etsy shop:)

I love your packaging and everything, i just think that it’s a lot of plastic. For the keychains it’s understandable, but the plastic for the 3 ring binder and sticker sheets aren’t really necessary. For the sticker sheets I recommend putting them in maybe a recyclable envelope, and for the journal I’d say to leave it like that and package it carefully without the plastic. In no way am I hating, just recommending things to be more eco friendly. Good luck and stay safe :)

hi!!, I love how dedicated you are with your work and i love how much effort you put in your packaging and products. However, I do recommend using paper bags and other sustainable materials as plastic is very harmful for the environment :) !! That is all good luck with your work and I am sure to be buying produce from your etsy!!!

I think it’s more so the fact that it’s how her packaging reflects on her brand - the care and time which goes into it would make receiving a package like this very nice and almost gift like! I also like that she uses something recyclable though :)
@@raynee27 it also reflects on the fact that she isn't concerned about excess though. like for instance, why do you need to bubble wrap sheets of stickers? isn't it better to use a rigid, paper board for better protection? i can appreciate the care put into the packaging, but that the same time, it's too much. we need to see the harm we're doing to our environment and while it seems confrontational, we're just people who want to help with change. i hope she has considered how she packages things, given this video is from 5 months ago. i'm someone new to this channel, and seeing so much excess packaging hurts my heart as i do research on sustainable packaging for my own shop. i don't want her to feel bad! just consider change, that's all.

I made the envelopes at first. But because the orders are more than the past, I chose to buy the envelope to speed up the packing process.

How do you know who you are shipping to when you stick the shipping labels, do you open the package again to check? Please I'm a noob so I don't know 😭
There’re 2 invoices. I include 1 invoice in the package and the other one is stored in my file until I finish the packing. So before I stick the shipping label I won’t take away the invoice:)

being a freelancer, how much do u earn? is this job worth the expenses (cricut, paper, mailing, ipad, etc.)
I don’t really earn much. Sometimes it’s hard to bring home bacon. There’re many expenses that you need to pay. I think it’s better to save enough money before starting the freelance career. For me, the fees of paper and cricut machine are covered by my shop income. But iPad was paid by my savings. And the mailing fee is paid by the customer~ Hope this can hope you~

I wanna start a business like this but Etsy isn't allowed in my country I can download it but I can't sell stuff on it ಥ‿ಥ
Does it cost alot of money to ship using all the shipping materials you are using? I sell t shirt online and just the polymailer bag and a wrap t shirt in plastic cost me alot of money to ship! I would love to do this for my customers but i figure its alot of money for them!
The packing material would certainly cost a little bit of the budget so I think the prices should be adjusted after calculating all cost including the packing material:)

The envelope size I use after folding up is 12.5 x 18.5 cm
