The importer for hobby boss is down the road from me - they sell easy assembly 1/72 for the australian equivalent of 5 pounds.
Have built many as paint mules. Questionable but good detail and fine engraved panels.
Even their 1/48 like the Tomcat is half the price of Tamiya.
To me their kits are the modern day matchbox.

The early ICM kits are less detailed as their later releases, P-51 and BF-109 don't compare with the newer releases. the company has gone a long way in production, maybe they should re-tool the early releases to create the newer standard of production .
