My Callistophylla was doing the same shit! Nothing forever, then bloom, bloom, bloom, but no growth. Treated with sulfur for a month on the off chance that it had the mites everyone is dealing with, and BOOM. New leaf. Also, CURRENT fave Hoya is my Obovata. Had the same (confirmed) mite issue and maaaaan she’s crushing it now!
@@BrandonBotanical Honestly, when I found them on one, I hit all the Hoyas that were slower going and they ALL saw a take off after the first treatment. It was wild. I think they’re more prevalent than we think. The one I confirmed them on was bought from and independent shop in MPLS that I had never had pest issues with before.

Macrophyla albomarginata is also one of my faves. The leaves will get HUGE as it matures. One day it’ll put out a hand sized leaf and you’ll be shook.
