Wade- Made it After All

Growing up in rural Wisconsin, Wade like many of us in the Queer Community endured the painful experience of bullying. He powered through only for it to finally end in a less than ideal way.
As his struggles from childhood through High School come to an end, Wade‘s outlook on life and his experiences eventually start to improve. The time when we Come Out is usually an exciting one, but for Wade, he finds himself in a relationship that takes a turn down a troubled path. His first boyfriend struggles with alcohol abuse and his view of what being a part of the LGBTQ community is gets completely turned upside down.
After what seems like a rough beginning, things turn around and Wade finds himself and the meaning of community in Minneapolis with the help of his icon Mary Tyler Moore as Mary Richards in “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” which is set in Minneapolis. Wade shares with us his love of this groundbreaking 1970s sitcom and how he made it after all.
