Now a days cheap solutions like Fosroc Brush bond water proof coatings are available....but it should be done after neat plastering of floor.

Pls encourage small builders.. they charge less and work quality is really good.. specially who come from Andhra region.. they are skilled, fast and listen to you what ever suggestions you tell them ... Also ensure u r supplying material.. if u are giving material contract to them they will try to do jugaad and save money, use more of sand and less cement..... And also there should be one person behind them to ensure they are working properly.. pls invest 6 months of time so that u r house stays strong for 60 yrs

We bought apartment same happened to us .. leakage from bathrooms .. cement was not used properly while fitting tiles in bathrooms ..so the walls attached to bathrooms got leakage..again we have done new tiles fitting work for our bathrooms ..even if you buy apartments water leakage and construction should be checked
It's happening in all the apartments in Hyderabad..20yr old apartments still look new and solid but apartments being constructed from past 7yrs are no good and not worth buying.

Other wise, he'll repeat the same with some other. At present I'm constructing a house, at my own rist not for contract. Anyhow, be courageous don't take mental tension.
