    Congratulations on the silver joey thrupenny coin, we found 3 of these soldered together into a brooch recently, one was George V 1912 and the other two were Edward V11 1910 and for us to find them in England is quite amazing and they very rarely come up.       @@SunstateMetalDetecting We still can't get over finding some Aussie silver in Derbyshire England. Some of the Australian detectorists on youtube seem to find loads of pre decimal silvers, we thought it was common to find those coins for you over there, but I suppose the competition is strong for the best areas to search.

      Too right! I live in an area that isn't that old. White settlers first arrived here in the late 1800s, whereas some other places in Australia have seen a lot of activity since the early 1800s. Still, I'll take whatever I can get!
