Charlotte’s taking her chance in the big city. She just began working for the hottest romance site writing their hit weekly dating article, and her new best friend, Lila, is as fun as she is loyal. She also befriends a coffee barista, Liam, who shows her all the best spots in the city. But dating a new guy each week to write about is making her feel burned out. And when Liam develops feelings for her, Charlotte will need to decide whether her work is more important than her chance at love.

One of the best "relationship" movies i have ever seen. The conversations were real and substantive. The acting was way above average. I also deeply appreciated that the story line was not wrapped around the merely physical chemistry. The development of a friendship before going on the first date was SO good - a pattern that a lot of young adults should look for. The mere sexual attraction can be easy come easy go...the depth of shared interests and values are far richer and wiser. The intimacy of human chemistry will come and last if it is built on the values and experiences that make us better people. The inherent selfishess of much of the modern (post modern?) dating seen has been effective at spreading broken hearts and STD's. Growing in love involves sacrifice and thinking of others before oneself. When we want to give ourself for the good of another we have begun to grown in love. This movie points down that path more that most.

I loved this movie. It is almost exactly how I met my, Mr Right. We were friends first, while I was dating other men. Then I realized I was so at peace when I was with him, I could be myself completely and he was so good to me. He is now my BF and I couldn't be happier!!
Same here. I only started dating my Mr. Right because we were friends first. When we met, I was dating someone who, on paper, was everything I wanted in a husband. But then I realized he would always put his career and the pursuit of money above me and any children we might have had, so I dumped him. My now husband wanted to give me time to mourn, not Knowing I was the one who called it off, and I started dating a second guy who checked all those boxes. But that was the most boring relationship of my life. When I ended that relationship, my now husband asked me out the very next day. I only said yes because he literally only checked one box on my list: he believed in the same belief system I believed in. I never thought it would get serious, and was willing to sacrifice our friendship because I was the only thing he was serious about and I knew he would make a fun boyfriend. In my pride, I thought we'd date, have fun, then I'd break up with him to keep looking for a man that checked more boxes on my "future husband list".
Fortunately, God intervened. God knew what an amazing companion he would end up being for me. 13 years of marriage and two beautiful kids later, I'm so grateful I had faith to follow the guidance of God. We've never been monetarily rich, but we are so rich in every way that eternally matters! He's an incredible husband and father. I feel like the luckiest woman alive.
And, he did the post-production audio on this film. A lot of late nights after his job that gives us health insurance. It's such a joy to me to see how his efforts have created something so wonderful for the world!!
I loved the humor and the way the actors who played the main characters had such good chemistry and timing. They felt like real people. Very convincing. The story was very real too. I really liked this movie.
A nice sweet movie. Didn't insult me on any level. No cursing, no nudity . Still could have been studying this whole time. sigh
I agree . It's nice to see Tanner Gilman's character get the girl for a change. He's a good actor and he deserves it!

For those still looking for their "Mr. Right", don't give up hope. Trust in God. I was friends with my husband first, and when we started dating, I never would have thought this would be my life. But I felt God knew my husband's potential, and God helped me look past his faults to see him as He saw my husband-- a spiritual giant who would be a loving, kind, thoughtful, gentle husband and partner for me. If you don't include God in your life, you might miss chances like that.
Plus the way he communicates 🥺

Great film. You can not tell your heart whom to love. Charlotte parents divorce scared her badly that she fears letting her heart love at all. But life keeps happening to us all whether you are ready for it or not. I still believe in love.

I liked the dialogues, the music and the ending. It was refreshing the way the topic of the difficulty in finding someone to share life with was displayed. Thank you to everyone involved doing this movie.

I was pleasantly surprised at the depth in this movie. It wasnt the shallow chick flick that i thought it would be and I actually passed over it several times before watching it. It was sensitively real. It was well acted. The dialogue was authentic. The plot was not predicable and yes it was a satisfyingly happy ending. Memorable because of it portraying genuine characters.

Just in case you’re not into god,things will be ok,you just continue being you,I always hear some line that you’ll catch a fish something something,where yeah they’re not right for you,especially you’re not right for them,many of these men just are either too feminine like,or want all the attention,or just plain creepy,or many she’s went on dates with,lol.Anyways I don’t get it either,as personally they knew my boundaries,& they knew I warned them that I’m learning disabled,where I would have some difficulties and need said help,I sometimes dislike how many people keep on saying god this and that,it doesn’t have to be always god,and btw,we’re basically all gods,lol I get it people who believe in god can be very kind & sweet,so I don’t hate them if they’re.
So please believe in whoever you want to believe,maybe in yourself you can think of,”Maybe one day,I’ll find,Mr.Right,but right now,I’m focusing on me,maybe today isn’t a good day,& maybe tomorrow will be a good day? Doesn’t make me less of a person”.
You just focus on you,I understand because I have plenty of days where I’m unhappy,I also can’t go anywhere because there’s nothing for me to go to,too meet new people instead of Messenger on Facebook,because plenty of guys like to prey on us because they been rejected so many times,& who knows what level of creepy.
So it’s ok to not feel ok even if tomorrow isn’t a good day,there always be a good day or if not then hang on,because I’m sure one day there will be! We just going through things we haven’t figured out how to go through or maybe we’re going through them for a reason,we’re all emotional creatures deep down somewhere,I hope this made some sense.
I’m always so frustrated at myself for turning off my messenger chat requests from people I don’t know because of that,but doing it has saved me from the trouble,I put a bigger boundary and if someone thinks I’m being rude doing that,we’ll fine I’m rude,lol if they assume then I be what they say,btw,they’re just looking at you like you’re their reflection,though yes you picked a lot of wrongs and mistakes do happen and it’s good that you’re owning up to that,but don’t give up on life because you haven’t found the one,because you’re mainly focusing too much on wanting someone to be you when you don’t focus on yourself,same with me here,& that’s what they call loving yourself,like right now you could be crying,& you know what? That means you love yourself and you’re focusing on yourself,& it’s ok to focus sometimes not finding the one,let me just say you’re doing just fine! :)
