one of my favorite musicals, I even once played Brad in a high school play. it's a small role, but it's something. this is so exciting.

I was so excited this morning when I first saw the announcement! Hairspray isn't one of my favorite musicals but it's thrilling that it's going to be a fun night of TV. Seeing Harvey play one of the roles that made him a Broadway legend is going to be a sheer joy and I hoped he was going to be involved in this somehow. His new script better not screw up what makes Hairspray a wonderful 60's Cinderella story.

I saw the hairspray it was amazing and every awesome I really like it
I'm really excited for Maddie but I'm just not sold on Harvey reprising the role. His voice is kinda annoying to me. But, whatever. It's gonna have Martin Short and Kristin Chennowith so I'll still watch it.
I'm excited for Maddie too as well as Chenoweth, Short and Jennifer Hudson. However, I don't find Harvey's voice that annoying.

Melanie Besides, the first time I heard Harvey's voice was as Yao in Mulan. I think his voice adds a bit of character for someone of his reputation and actor range.
