Nice review I used that loadout on the movie Scarlett. The hands are smaller on movie Scarlett for the crossbow I had to widen it to get her trigger finger into the trigger. Mine's didn't come with a rubber band unfortunately like yours did plus the stars were removable on mine so I guess they made a production change overall it made my Scarlett look so much better since she only had the wimpy looking crossbow that's smaller than the other Scarlett figures.
That’s interesting to hear that yours was a little different than the one that I have. Also that movie Scarlett is a good figure.
The crossbow is not collapsed, that’s how they’re designed. Look up compact crossbows. They have some weird modern designs.
Arrows on crossbows are bolts. Blows my mind, but they have modern crossbows that the pulleys are designed that way. Great video, & definitely more cool Gridiron stuff.
It depends on the length and amount of fletchings/vanes ('feathers') being used. A long projectile with three vanes is still called an arrow even when used by a crossbow, a short projectile with two or no vanes is usually referred to as a bolt. Compound bows (pulleys that are usually cams) are a system that has been used in archery including crossbows since the 1970's.

It's not 'collapsed' it's cocked, i.e. the string (if it had one) is now in the trigger lock/catch and is ready to be loaded with a bolt and released 'fired'. Modern crossbows are made to be as narrow as possible to help hunters in forests etc.. as trees do not move out of your way, also as the limbs decompress during a shot, they will get wider. One of my real crossbows (I have six) has a reverse limb configuration and is of course a compound, this allows it to be even narrower with a longer length of pull giving far more energy to the bolt than a regular crossbow of any kind.
I do like that backpack for Snake Eyes. I wonder if it would look cool on desert Snake eyes???

I really like Gridiron, but some of their weapons are oversized, that crossbow being one of them. I'm sure I notice it more because I've owned crossbows for years, but that thing would be a monster in real life. It is cool looking though, and that's usually all that matters with toys. It's better than the one she came with. I gave my retro Scarlett the crossbow that came with the SE Origins Scarlett, just because I got tired of the retro one falling apart.
I am not a fan of the Grid Iron crossbows, they look way too big to me. 🤷♂️

How do you do a gas mask and leave the eyes uncovered?! Not gonna work real good for teargas.
