- Back into Rotherham this evening guys, and this is a big one.
Not the biggest in terms of area by any means, but there are 9,000 or so people that populate, crammed into its boundaries. That doesn't mean that everyone is living on top of each other though, Oh no. Far from it in fact, as there are places that people can get out and away from each other, like the massive recreation field right in the middle.
This place is well served with shops too. Aside from the main shopping street you are never far away from a local convenience shop because they are dotted around everywhere.
The jewel in the crown of this, Rotherham's third most populated parish though, comes in the form of an abandoned church which on the day of filming I was lucky enough to get up close and personal with, as it's not open 24/7.
If that lot isn't enough for you then I don't know what is, but even so, I'm pretty sure there's still more to see that I didn't film in the parish of BRINSWORTH.

Nicely shot Very informative. I was born in Brinsworth 1941 though to work away when I was 18. There was Bonnet Ln , Brinsworth Hall crescent and fields all around. I would get lost there now. Remember the 3 Maggies being built. Used to be thesite of the village lads inprompture cricket pitch just opposite of the then Big Brinsworth Hall surrounded by a large sandstone wall...
My Nan lives in Brinsworth I've seen the river high before
So lovely to see a tour of such a nice place. These kind of places are generally overlooked by travelers. Thanks for this Andy!
That's the beauty of my channel, glad you enjoyed it :D
Andy, what is the name of the beautifully haunting music used for this series? It starts at 5:50 in this video, but has been used throughout Rotherham?
Its called Spirit of Fire by Jesse Gallagher
