I think I'm probably pretty high maintenance emotionally in that I have a tendency to have complete meltdowns over small things. I sometimes feel really bad for my friends having to deal with my emotional meltdowns

So I'm on dating apps/sites and I'm 28, have social anxiety but also happen to have psoriatic arthritis and psoriasis. Being open about it doesn't help at all. I've been denied based on those and the fact I'm disabled as if they never read a message I wrote out and put thought and time into so conversation could happen. I'm not horrible looking and I don't act as if the health issues are my personality at all but it's as if I can't even say hello before being judged lacking by any woman I would speak to.

They make that airplane job sound atrocious, but I drive trucks for a living, and it's basically the same thing (8-14-hr days, 5 days a week) except there'd be no traffic and I have no social life anyway. I think I'd do it.

it's only because they pre-recorded it, so they recorded all the ads in one sitting and didn't have to break up the flow of conversation. Plus they always have the banner at the bottom which makes it pretty easy to skip lol

Both professionally and personally, I tend to find myself in older crowds and I wonder where do people closer to my age go or what do they participate in outside of the bar or gym? Would it be a good idea to start my own online group with the intention to meet others closer to my age offline? I have tried dance classes, artist studios, coffee/tea shops, live music events, volunteerism,unique dining experiences, ect.
I still wonder to this day how much these guys make. Good lord

My definition of high maintenance was just the person is very type A or just needing things to be in a certain way especially with like plans or arrangements
Barb apologizing to objects reminds me of the movie Robinson Jr., where People apologize to objects before hitting someone with them.
As to the high maintainence question, I'm finding myself wondering how far does that go? Is it just interpersonal communication or day to day actions? For example, I am a very low maintainence person. I tend to like to take care of my own problems without involvement from S/Os unless it will certainly involve them. However, my job (fireman) inevitably places more demands than normal on any S/O I have (odd hours, time spent away, no weekends/holidays off, emotional support). Does this make ME a high maintenance partner? Looking for advice from anyone. Thanks.

at 1:07:23 I feel like they misunderstood this question because the person who asked the question I feel they were not in the wrong because she stated she had no clue what was going on but it didn't help either that they all just assumed. that's where the problem lied is where the group just assumed. and not to mention she was telling the friend that this was the case all week long and then the friend got mad when she turned it down. I feel like it was a miscommunication and the friend shouldn't have gotten mad either because they had to know that to assume was not the way to go.
