- General Session: Professor Clayton Christensen, author of “Competing Against Luck,” spoke at the 2017 National Summit on Education Reform on Thursday, November 30, in Nashville, Tennessee.
Professor Christensen discusses his research and theories on disruption and innovation in business to invoke a different way of thinking about how we deliver education. He challenged attendees to measure their lives not by numbers, but instead how they have helped put others on the path to becoming a better version of themselves. Hanna Skandera, Former Secretary of Public Education, New Mexico introduced Professor Christensen.

God bless you Clayton Christensen
I so respected and admired Dr. Christensen. He was a gentleman of integrity, and a shining light in the business world. I do hope that his proteges and son carry on the values of his advanced work. May he rest in peace. He passed on before his time.
Good thinker.
Love this guy, easier to watch at 1.25 or 1.5 x speed

Incredible insights from a wise and good man. I can see some applications of his ideas to my industry. Thank you for posting this.
I don’t think any human can live up to his purity and beautiful soul he had ❤️ what hurts me the most that I keep seeing beautiful people like him suffer unfortunates of life while evils rule dictatorship countries with joy
Rest in peace Clayton Christenson I learned lot from you
I almost drop tears in his closing and it all makes sense with the analogy.
Two books published during 1997 - The Fourth Turning and The innovator's Dilemma - narrate the first half of the 21st century. I appreciate the spirit of the quote posted by Hans Jürgen Vetter. Good quote.
Prof raised good amount of interesting points

I am close to your age and think you are speaking fine . much of what you say are the concerns of specialty contractors for the young people coming up in the industry .
Data is the new dust, and AI isn't the answer to everything. Clayton expertly makes this case to measure purpose here...

Against, not again.
The opening failed almost completely.
Luckily, CC was there to save us again.
