Spark for the USA market had 10 airbags to achieve a good crash rating - this include two knee airbags for the driver and front passenger in the lower dash, and two side torso airbags for outboard rear passengers (in addition to two front seat side torso airbags, two front airbags, and the two curtain airbags).
The Spark have all that airbags only in American model, worldwide it only has 2 or none.
Relatively safe for be a very small car.

@Karen K I don't know why you said it's crap... I think it's a very good score if you compare the others competitors like the Honda Fit and the Fiat Palio in this case both cars are MEGA CRAP !!
Eo Delgado The car slid off the barrier, cars don't slide off each other in the real world. Nearly all GM cars are like this, a huge scam basically.
Jack Daniels Well, with all due respect I disagree with you because I think it's a good car considering its size and competitors from other brands. Maybe GM has been making "junk" in their cars as you say, but let me tell you this is my third Chevrolet and do not regret purchasing it. As they say, as you do in the show is like going to talk. All brands like Ford or VW in my very personal point models are bad, do not say that all but eventually the reality is that if there are better than others. Greetings!
Eo Delgado I would almost buy an american car like chevy but lately their actions have turned me away. The only chevy's I personally buy are those from the 90's and early 2000's. All newer cars are shitty in my opinion, way too many electronics that are doomed to fail and be costly to repair. All automakers are scamming people with this. Make a junk car with useless tech that is unneeded and have your customers running back in 5 years, right after the warranty runs up. Until reliability for these electronics improves, I'm keeping my 15 year old car on the road. Try it, much cheaper than a car payment and insurance is also cheaper along with registration.

I agreed with your comment, and that's exactly Jack Daniels says, but in the case of warranty of the product the first place I'll go is Chevrolet or GM because they're the company who sell this car.. So I insist, I completely agree with both of you guys, a few years ago I basically denied any Chevrolet or GM's products because of one car that was made here in Mexico called only "CHEVY" damn.. what a ugly car, insecure and nothing economic in gas as GM's Mexico said it was, but my perception of the products change (at least for me) when I have the chance to be a owner of a Chevrolet TrailBlazer 2003 and man.. what a big product.. I think it was the best mid-size truck... so based on my experience I decided buy this little Spark, at this point 30,000 kms I have nothing to said, there is a certain details I don't like very much such a the little tinny tires that came out from the dealer (at least en Mexico), weird sounds when you drive and other details. Like I said, I think the Spark (korean,american, mexican... etc) is better than other cars in his segment, don't you think ?
