@53:07 friendly reminder-opponent could not summon Granguignol with field spell because he was locked into fires by his Princess. Common mistake, but good stuff as always!
Returning after MANY years seriously because of White Woods and I can't miss a spellcaster meta because I basically only play spellcasters (now Witchcrafters lol).
Your finesse and attention in declaring chain links and asking "anything on res" and priority is something to learn from and that will help me going back to locals, thank you!

In round two, game two, he special summoned your grangol while having princess on the field.
I think he cant make masquerade using cartesia and another masquerade, it needs a despia monster.
Lol am I mistaken or in the first game against snake eyes he remembered that his S:P was protected by I:P just to let it get destroyed by furious dragon effect? That’s so unfortunate unless S:P banishing itself undoes the destruction protection

Nope. Branded Lost's protection does not work with Fusion Duplication since it's not a card that Fusion Summons a monster; hence why PAK was able to trigger his effects.

@@SSBBCrypto Correct. Had it been a Polymerization / Branded Fusion / Branded in Red... pretty much any card that performs a Fusion Summon as CL1, then the whole chain would have been protected by Lost.

Those are cardfight vanguard sleeves, those are the white version of the blackout sleeve

The fusion summon must be chain link 1 for lost to make your opponent unable to respond, it's a "when" continuous effect

Round 2 game 3 pak shouldve lost that one because quartis makes everything other than ur fusions 0 meaning his lv 4 kitt wouldnt of dealt the extra 1700 needed to be up on life
On top of that SE player couldn't bri g back gragniol cause he was under princess
He actually would've still won due to the 600 he paid from droplet. So pak was at 2500 to his opponents 2400.

56:14 how does Branded Lost work here? He activated Quaretetis using Lost to prevent opponent from responding to it. So, can you activate stuff on resolution of a Fusion Summon and prevent your opponent from responding to it? I thought Lost just prevented activations WHEN a fusion summon will happen
Yes, that's how it works, if he doesn't want the effect to be protected it would be needed to declare an open game state
So the activation of fusin card and effects cannot be negated but it does also stop your opponent from responding to the summon. So since Quaeritis effect is a quick he is activating it in the summon window where the opponent cannot directly respond to it. Same can be done with Mirrorjade.

I think it's a mistake, fusion du is cl1 so it's should be his opponnent that can activate effect on resolution
