I very rarely like covers of Eurythmics songs but the fact that the treatment is wonderfully understated and Natasha has a very strong identity makes it work.
@DimebagsLeftToe Thank you! It's nice that someone has some sense in these rooms! For those interested, the origional was performed by Annie Lennox of the Eurythmics. It has been covered MANY times. I appreciate it when people cover other artists' work, but most covers fall SO short of the origional. Natasha has covered songs from a few different artists, and, in my opinion, makes each cover her own, and in a very unique way. She's one of the fer artists I've heard in recent years that I enjoy.
right the Eurythmics version was the original, and it was great. Then Manson darkened it and made a rather sexy song. this is more like the original, it's good but very close to the original.
Marilyn Manson can't hold a candle, or a match for that matter, to ANY origonal artist! Admittedly, he has his place as an artist, but nothing more than a performance artist.
