Its a caravan ,Surtees is "built for fishing".
Nice video as usual guys. I would love to spend a day with any of these guys and their boats and vice a versa.

NICE boat for water caravanning . If fishing is your deal then the better riding ,sea handling and roomier Surtees is the go. Been in both boats and do so before you spend all that loot.
How does the surtees ride better when the hull is identical can you please explain?
@@vaskodimoski5690 not quite identical surtees use 6 mil and barcrusher 5 and i think that makes the ride quiter. the ride is the same but surtees quieter because of the plates. both are perhaps the best alloy riding boats along with stabi craft

Nothing wrong with barcrusher all robot welded they are great quality boats that are a little cheaper purchase price then surtees
@@Adl-pk4hg Except Surtees uses European 5083 alloy plate BC scources Chinese "5083" alloy plate . Surtees welds their stringers totally BC only stitch weld theirs. Both great boats though but many differences most cant see or ignore.

@@Adl-pk4hg Hi bud , let me guess facts sometimes hurt a little? But seriously i have owned both boats and the copy is still very good , i would have a BC in a heartbeat !! The quality of the alloy used is super important for me as corrosion problems are THE PITTS FOR BOAT OWNERS.

Interesting the comments on space - I think bar crusher quote their boats on LOA instead of waterline like most manufacturers so you get a smaller boat - so their 6.7m is about the same size as others 6m. Not much width in the one I inspected either only about 2.3m wide where others are around 2.5m
More fishing room in 670 BC than any same size glass boat ive had or been on and easier to handle.

I would have the crusher especially the HMS 780HT Destroyer. That would go anywhere!

@@wonderplatypusgetthedog8634 18 months ago I ended up buying a 780ht with 300 yammy. So well built, smooth ride in shit conditions and wot 40 knts, it's much better than I thought it would be.
I love my 730.. space is easy get rid of the second seat

I did not see them using them in decent seas, so their backs should still be fine ? Every boat i have owned (74 in total) is a bitch in a large head sea!!Surtees do kick arse though , especially when every factor like towing , sea ability and ease of use and maintenance are all factored in~!

Do not agree ,as the 650 Game fisher i looked at to compare was far superior .Starting with the following , superbly built with European 5083 Alloy plate unlike the Chinese5083 Barcrusher uses (THIS ALONE IS A GAME CHANGER)
Fully welded stringers in Surtees unlike Barcrushers stitch welded stringers results in the superior ride seen in these vids.
Boarding ladder is FAR better built designed and functional on the surtees.
Modern and functional transom is far superior to the dated transom Barcrusher copied from Surtees and still uses .
No nonsense hardtop with superior visibility , looks the goods as well.
Fuel filler located on transom not in cabin floor.
250 LITRE fuel standard.
Manual ballast shut off for reliability and less electrics to go wrong.
Bait station is A far better design , more functional and less of a hassle like the one on the BC.
No gunnel uprights inside to stub your to on.
Surtees beam is wider than BC in the 650/670 series and wiring is IMO neater and on par or better. Cheers
