C. Epstein, the father of the orbal revolution, prophesized the end of the Zemurian continent.
As “X Day” approaches, a massive orbal rocket is about to be launched from a large military base built in the Kunlun Range.
“Can man make it past the planet’s atmosphere?”

For me, it's almost certain that the end of this game will be like Cold Steel 3, where literally all the heroes will lose and Zemuria will start to disappear and the Grandmaster's plan, the Eternal Recurrence Plan, will be activated and the end of the game will be the continent of fact is disappearing.
The 3 years that Gramheart promised in Reverie in the memories are the same 3 years that Ishemelga Rean wanted to warn.
This new Trails is the prologue to probably the biggest event in the saga that should be the next game, which I believe will be like Reverie bringing together all or most of the characters from the series.
Good theory. It's even more supported by the lyrics too about the world resetting.
@@williammatthews3667 I even believe that this is not the first time that Zemuria would be restarted in my opinion, the artifacts themselves and the ancient civilization mentioned in all Trails for having technology ahead of what we know, perhaps demonstrate that this has already occurred in the past.
The Grandmaster in my view, perhaps she made her plans and actions to see if humanity could save the world from its own end, the Eternal Recurrence Plan for me is a plan used to restart things and see if in this new beginning humanity would not create your own end again.
However, before CS4 concluded, Grandmaster expected it all to end sooner. So there's no telling if these 3 years could change again.
I wonder if this game or the following will explain McBurn. There’s also a theory stating that Zemuria is a lost/preserved world from Nayuta Boundless Trails. However this series concludes, what a ride its been since Trails in the Sky. I'm currently in Chapter 4 of Trails through Daybreak.
There's a book in Sky FC called "31 Cypress Trees" that I think you'd find interesting. Suffice to say, the clues have been all around us the entire time.

putting aside the obvious hint that it shows her right after, van/mare reaching out to her also directly parallels the final shot of the kuro 1 op where agnes reaches out for van/mare. also the death flags have never been flaggier for her. agnesbros (me) in shambles rn
@@acerola3576looking back in retrospect… Falcom has rarely been subtle with its foreshadowing. Like, gee I wonder if arianhod is the lance maiden? They only bring it up every time she appears on screen.
@@doorto6152Meh, they have done both good and bad twists trought the years. For instance a lot of the foreshadowing around Joshua in FC was really well done.

Late 2026 mid 2027 is more likely as sadly 23 and a half months is the record between JP and English versions and that was set by XSeed with Cold Steel 2 and NISA's fastest release was just over 24 months with Cold Steel 3 with only the PS4 version and taking 32 months for all platforms, then Reverie taking 34 months and Daybreak 32 months for all platforms as well. A late 2025 release would be 12-13 months for all platforms while Falcom is only releasing Kai on PlayStation Systems. Daybreak 2 release is looking to finally break the 32 month multi platform record by a few months. So unless NISA goes back to releasing the PlayStation versions early or they've finally found a way to speed up localization Spring 2027 is the likely Western release window.
pretty much will be late 2025, Nisa is finally catching up with kuro 2 early 2025, consider it is kuro 1 and ys x for late 2024

@@zmdiscord5385 Ys X just matches what was already achieved with Ys Seven which is just over a year, which is only 3 months faster than Ys IX. Late 2025 would 2.5 times faster than NISA's best effort. I'd like to be proven wrong we'll see.

Trust me, you don't have to worry about them killing off a major good guy playable character in a Trails game. They don't do that. Ever. And even if they did, there'd just be an alternate ending to save them or they'd be revived in the next game wearing a mask.
As for your question, we don't know the context yet. Agnes says the line in the WebCM2 in a voiceover of Elaine fighting a monster. The subtitled version is on CLE's channel if you want to see it.

Ugh I own all the Trails games on Switch but I don't have the Trails in the Sky trilogy and Trails of Cold Steel 1&2 for Switch yet. I really hope those come to the West. I only play on the Switch. I don't have a PC and I don't have anymore older consoles hardware available to play those games.

I thought the same, honestly. I wouldn't rule out the possibility. Japanese writers and developers seem to develop this timeloop/reset trope quite recently. Hideyaki Anno kind of started this with the Evangelion Rebuilds. Nasu took inspiration from it for the Tsukihime Remake and SE did the same with FF7 Remake and Rebirth.
Furthermore this isn't a new concept for Kiseki. Remember Zero and Ao/Azure?

Looks good, just please keep it Van's story, I so couldnt care less about yet another reans outing. Kevin and Van, thats where the focus needs to be. So much to do, so much to wrap up here, focus on the actual main story and move it forward, no need for unnecessary side stuff.
Besides that, this looks hype, Im worried for Agnes, but I do like the world tour kinda of feel with Van's group, plenty of baddies seem to be involved and we will definitely finally get some actual answers for the longest ongoing questions so yea, as long as they can keep it from being cs6 I will be happy.
Its really too bad Clouded Leopard cant release english subtitles with their version :(

@@Spellweaver5 Firstly, no this isnt the final game in the series, there will be 2-3 more after this, we are only ramping up towards the end.
Secondly, we have just gotten off rean being the mc, not a secondary character, but a lead for 5 games straight, nobody in the history of the series had anywhere close to this much screentime and there wasnt enough to him for this to begin with, hence why we had the same exact character development for him in every game.
Thirdly, the harem situation isnt going to be solved, thats just forever going to be in limbo because they literally cant account for that.
And finally, the game absolutely does not need to give him anymore spotlight, we didnt need to see how Estelle got her new stick, or how Lloyd got a rematch with Mcburn for whatever reason, we didnt get to see Kevin for over a decade period. Their stories were over, they were secondary characters at best after their arcs or simply not present, reans story is over, what we need to focus on now is the characters of this arc, with whom we have not gotten to spend enough time and havnt gotten enough answers and the future of the series, which shouldnt and indeed cant be focused and centered around rean for its own good.
If he were to come back as a secondary character, I would be fine with it, but it seems like he is an MC again, in a three game arc that was already split in pow in the second game, no other protagonist has gotten this poor a treatment from Falcom and I would also be fine if rean did show up for the final game to fulfill the same role Etselle and Joshua + SSS fulfilled in CS IV for example, but this isnt the time or the finale.
