I can't lie, I feel sorry for Jake now. He doesn't deserve to be treated like this, but still, his character's developing, and I'm for that. The way Trevor mentioned that he needs to move on to Connor was brilliant. Tess is right, Ellie's becoming way too devious, what's going to happen now that Gabby knows she lied to her about the villains alliance? Did anyone else notice that Alec looked really happy in this episode? The fact that this was Fiore's last episode and every time ahe spoke had me laughing. Also, the way she giggled when reading one of the patreon names was so adorable it had me cracking up and rewinding for ages!
This is exactly how I feel. At the start of this season till now I was upset with how naive Jake has been, but today he actually tried to communicate and was clear, yet Tom decided once again not to properly communicate (I say this because I feel like he is lyromg about the boyfriend. his expression and tone of voice say so). Also I don't like ellie as much anymore because her deviousness is going off the rack!!

I agree with you, I honestly felt bad for Jake, (I do like his character as he’s a realistic character to me and he’s morally grey if that makes sense) he’s naive, but he’s trying to communicate and I feel like he’s growing a bit (getting a bit of development which I was hoping for). I love Trevor and when he mentioned he needed to move on to Connor I was like OMG 🫣 YESS! It was brilliant because Trevor deserves so much better 💜 I’m starting to really dislike Ellie a lot, especially since she lied to Gabby (Gabby is amazing) and I was so sad to see Fiore go this episode, she had me dying with laughter 🤭 and when she read the Patreon names I had to rewatch them again because I was laughing so hard.
Honestly the only bad thing Ellie has done is lie to gabby. Pushing Tom onto Aiden to distract jake was smart

Why do people actually like her?
I think Tom is still a secret agent, and that's why he can't interact with Jake. "Being fired for being revealed on a reality game show," isn't how it would really go down - he'd just be transferred to desk work or something. Combined with the sudden, convenient, and off-screen approval to become a police officer, a government job that normally requires an application and academy? I think that the firing was fake, but he's in such a weird place with Jake professionally that he isn't allowed to interact with him until this whole Disventure Camp case is wrapped up. And since they're bringing a lot of focus on the camp's responsibility towards the environment this season, I think they're setting that twist up.

Ally is questionable especially with her relation with Jake (unless she can get past it and work well with him), Aiden feels like he’s not doing much (but he’s starting to catch on to Ellie’s tricks), don’t know if Tom is lying about the boyfriend thing, Ellie is getting worse (even keeping secrets from Gabby), Jake (despite being glad he isn’t manipulated by Fiore) is questionable (he’s easily distracted, and idk if he’ll actually let his jealousy get the best of him ( even after Tom said he has a boyfriend, who we don’t know is real or not)), and I have no sympathy for the yellow team (with Miriam and Connor gone, but proud of them for revealing the villains alliance) except maybe Grett (who is starting to not care what others think, seems to genuinely love Yul even though she deserves better, and is keeping herself in check with what she says (showing more mindfulness)).

I get the frustration with Jake, but he’s definitely showing a lot of growth. People don’t change immediately and he’s doing a great job at least pausing and communicating. He seems to have an anxious attachment style that’s affected his relationships.
There's a lot of people that are showing their lack of understanding when it comes to the reading of Jake's character, like he clearly has trust issues and is insecure about himself and his own self worth.
Also not having granny Miriam there who has been a safe place for him does not help.
Seeing people absolutely thrashing him, really just shows how we really like to prey on the weak as human beings, instead of looking forward to his underdog story.

It bothers me to see them refer to Fiore as a "Demon child" still. She was 6 in her first season, younger than the average age of reason, and likely unable to understand morality yet. That season I was somewhat fine with it since her behavior was worse than a typical child that age, but this season I'm NOT. A more appropriate title for her now would be "Unhinged child".
What exactly has Fiore done THIS season to warrant "Demon child"? She said she was going to play differently this time and she did. Curse, insult, lie, manipulate, and that's about it. Standard behavior for her age and the sake of the game. Compared to 6-year-old Fiore who sabotaged, assaulted, stole, destroyed property, etc, she's well-behaved. Almost like she went through a minor redemption arc offscreen. (Or hit age-of-reason finally *le gasp!*) At this point, Fiore is more mature than some of the bloody adults in this show with their held grudges. I'm rather proud of her over that.
By the way, congrats to Ashley on her successful mission in targeting and eliminating Fiore from the game. I hope Fiore kept that space she's been renting in your head for the last two years clean. '-_-

Fiore was in a Catholic reform school and had to _escape it_ to get on the show. Clearly, she's still badly-behaved. No redemption.

Secondly, the staff clearly has questionable morals for accepting bribe money and allowing a kidnapping if Fiore didn't have permission to leave. Practice what you preach. Don't expect a child to behave better than you.
Thirdly, I'd NEVER consider an escape attempt from a place like that as misbehavior. Being defiant against forced indoctrination isn't "misbehavor" to me. NOBODY should be forced to convert or otherwise attend religious teachings. The school clearly leans into religious teachings given how the staff dress and the bible on the desk and Fiore CLEARLY doesn't want any of it. I don't care if it's a situation where her parents are religious and want the same of her, she has EVERY RIGHT to reject the practice. The saying: "Corner even a mild-tempered dog and it too will growl and bite" comes to mind here.
Fourthly, we LITERALLY SEE Fiore behaving better than how she behaved last time. She also came the closest to apologizing for past behavior than any other antagonist.
Fifthly, SHE'S A CHILD. Obviously her behavior won't be perfect. Claiming she's a "Demon child" or otherwise for having anything less than perfect behavior is both unreasonable and DUMB!

im really happy with jake's character development as it keeps progressing, i feel really seen by his character and relate to a lot of his struggles and things he has to overcome so it's nice to see that be translated and watch him continue to develop, with or without tom. he is definitely one of the most compelling characters to me

The way I was feeling bad for Jake until he actually started listening to Fiore 💀. Ellie’s villain arc is SO GOOD I AM LIVING FOR IT! They kissed cause Ellie made them for the challenge. From Jakes perspective it makes sense for him to be jealous, but from Aidens it also makes sense for him to be angry. He was forced to kiss Tom, then gets accused of being with Tom and then gets Tom shoved on top of him the day after.

Honestly, I had this prediction for a while now but I honestly think Tom has feelings for Aiden. Maybe he doesn’t realize his feelings yet but I feel like there is something there. Aiden on the other hand only views Tom as a friend, so when Tom mentioned what Jake thought about them being together. I kinda cringed in my seat. Maybe Tom’s boyfriend thing is true.
