As a mother I'm sorry this happened to you. I found out my daughter was being molested by my nephew. It's been three years since I found out it was happening for years. I have a case against him and my family disowned me and my children. They are supporting him and my sisters n all my family reach disowned us. We have court coming up n I pray justice is served. Him coming out and speaking on what happened to him.. just brought a lot of trauma back to me .. I went through the same things .. and those things lasted for 4 years .. I’m 17 now … and it still hurts . So I just feel so bad for him .. nobody should have to go through that at all

My baby sitter violated me at the age of 7. I never really told anyone until I was 13 to my dad and my dad already new. It was probably one of the hardest moments to tell my dad a 19 year old woman violated me. I still to this day as a 30 old. I still have PTSD or how to be comfortable with intimacy and guys don't understand why I'm traumatized by sexual stuff. I'm not a virgin but if I were to get close to someone they would have real understanding of how to make me feel safe and protected.
