    This is fantastic! Thank you for raising more awareness of sustainable food options in Thailand! Pun Suk is a great restaurant and very tasty & health-centred food, but it can be a little far out for people to travel to - if seen as a modern inspirational vegan restaurant, you could look at a few other examples closer to the city that offer a range of Thai food such as 1/ Vegan Kanom Jeen (Tonklar Facai), 2/ Vegan Khao Soi (Loving Hut), 3/ Massaman, green/ red Curries (Veganerie) or 4/ Ka Pao with Vegan Egg (Broccoli Revolution). 100% Thai owned businesses and 100% delicious food!! We would love to collaborate on your next vegan video! DM us!

    I am expat live and work in Thailand for 10 over years, and a Vegetarian myself for 22 years. When I just moved here (Ayutthaya), it was very difficult to find Vegetarian food, except during the 10 days Vegetarian Festival. However I see some changes just very recently when many "Plant base meat" options start emerging in Lotus Supermarket. It is very encouraging. I expect Natty to visit "Veganerie" on the Modern Vegan, but now I know there is another place selling good Vegan food, Thanks. Bangkok actually have enough vegan restaurants, but other province seem to be less. I hope we can see more Vegan restaurants coming out in Thailand, preparing Thailand Traditional food in Vegan style, for those are vegan, even for those who are not. Some mention about May Veggie Opposite of T21, I love their Pineapple Fry rice. Thank for the video.

    • @seanmac5093
      @seanmac5093 Před rokem +8

      Your definition of “ethics” is interesting. Commercial meat industry is responsible for a large portion of global warming issues, and the abuse of animals in factory farms is far from most people’s basic understanding of ethics. Do some research.

    • @scubasausage
      @scubasausage Před rokem

      @@seanmac5093 my definition of ethics is just fine. Not all meat eating is related to animal abuse and global warming. Eating meat is fine, animal abuse is not. It’s important to recognise the difference. Driving a car contributes to global warming and child labour is often used to mine minerals used in car production, yet this does not make the act of driving a car unethical.

      Killing something just for flavor is not ethical.

      @scubasausage Před rokem

      @@CyberMachine Yes it is. Killing living things to eat has been happening for billions of years on this planet and it will continue. It is perfectly ethical.
      Whats unethical is dehumanising people who eat meat. You are entitled to not eat meat yourself. But you do not have the right to stigmatise others who do not conform to your personal ideology. Look up the definition of "liberal". Its far more unethical to be illiberal than it is to eat a bacon sandwhich.
      But tbh im not worried. Humans will never stop eating meat. Same with most carnivores on this planet.
