As a former esthetician my absolute go to for at home peels I use Platinum Skin Care. There peels and skincare are extremely effective and at 47 I have not lost my glow.
I use the Platinum Skincare peels too, they have a lot of amazing products and very good videos that teach you very thoroughly how to use peels properly without damages. I began very gradually with mandelic peels and after two years I use now regularly TCA and my skin Is truly trasformed
You are the best! Your videos are so helpful and I love that it’s coming from such a trusted source. Very straightforward, easy to follow and understand.
I am using rejuvenating products twice a year. 1 set last for 1 month, they advise to use 3 sets only then stop but for me 1 set is enough, then I proceed to my anti-aging serum and moisturizer. Philippines has a lot of rejuvenating products that cost for 15 dollars only, that is why some of our colleagues here in Middle East from other countries are trying it and falling in love with the products 😂
You look good without makeup! My eyeshadow/liner, undereye concealer, blush and lipstick make me look better. Especially undereye concealer for my dark bags.
Thank you for the great shares. I need to check these out. I live that you share items you use and let us k ow your favorites, plus pros and cons in items.
Hi Dr- thank you so much for this very informative video. I have a question.. I use Tretinoin .1% every night as part as my skin care routine.. would I need to stop using it for a couple of days in order to use the two step peel or could I just use it once a week and skip the Tretinoin on that night? thank you so much!!
I usually use lactic acid serum twice a week to exfoliate. Can I stop that and use these sort of peels instead? I have quite a bit of pigmentation and dark age spots on my face, arms. I am 67 years old in March this year and I am trying to simplify my skincare regiment. I live in Western Australia. It costs a fortune to see a Dermatologists, need a ferral from a GP first. Australia is an expensive place to work and live.
I'm looking for the best exfoliate for 70 yr old skin. My skin is very dry and have some dark spots and rosecea. Please help....I'm thinking Paula's Choice skin perfecting 2% BHA do you have a suggestion. Love your videos!!
I think both Costco & target have elta md. And sometimes on sale Correction. Costco has different mdsolar items And target has elltamd. Now on sale Pretty sure target used to have mdsolar CVS has mdsolar sciences. Can use coupons etc.
Wondering why with dr Dennis peels you didn’t wait the 2 min between step 1 and step 2 as it is written on the directions. Could you please help me understand??????
Love your videos! Have you ever done a review of Derma-e products? I tried their vitamin C peel (on sale). I liked it. I'd love to hear your thoughts on their anti aging line!
Great video❤ Very informative and your research is always💯. ❓If you are 59+, new to using skin care , but still have good skin (people think I am in my 40s, 😆 what exfoliator/ skin peel would be best to start with?!! Ty.
Any topical solutions to deep & wide scars for people with fragile Ehlers-Danlos skin? Old and new scars are bad from poor wound healing. I would love to know which products to use to make them less prominent.
What are your thoughts on 1) facial essences (i.e. Tatcha Essence or something similar) and 2) facial brushes (i.e. Soniclear)?? Thank you! Love your channel!
DDG extra strength dual exfoliating peel pads were my tried & true favorite; I used every am or pm before starting Tretinoin for anti aging 5 mos ago. I miss them & still have many left but since I’ve worked my way up to using Tret almost nightly, I’m not sure when I can safely use them. Is it ok to use before applying Tret (I think that’s a no?) Can I use in different time of day (or different day) than I use Tret.? I use 20% L Ascorbic acid in the am and have been using on nights I don’t use Tret. Could I apply peel pads before that? I’m thinking that would be a lot on the skin. Appreciate it!
I'm honestly afraid of using an at home peel. So, I was wondering if it was safe to use an AHA cleanser in the morning, then follow up with vitamin c serum, moisturizer, and sunscreen?
I just bought the Tula brand sunscreen because I thought in one of your videos you said you wear it every day and get compliments on your skin? Is it not a trusted brand for you anymore?
Hi. I am brand new to your videos and loving the content. I just watched you video on night time /day time routine. How would you using a peel within the night time plan? How many days per week should i peel?
Hiii :) sorry bringing other thing in this video, but I was watching your video about advices for differine, I wanted to know if niacinamida could be a little allergic to some people, I feel it makes me break out :(
I love to watch your youtube, they are so informative. Just want to ask whether you use any toner? Any good one or acholic free you recommend? Thank you.
I watched a dr dermatologist video about collagen supplements. Best thing, vit c, retinol and peels to stimulate collagen production. Search for does collagen really work on CZcams.
I just saw a video by @SincerelyMissAsh where she recommended Dr Dennis Gross’ Advanced Retinol + Ferulic Triple Correction Eye Serum for milia. (They have a matching cream but I only now about the serum.) It’s a great serum that can safely go on eyelids as well as under eye. Dr Gross’ website has their serums 25% off this weekend for MD. I think another online skin care sure has them on sale too. Nords will often price match Dr Gross’ website if you ask!
lots! It can loosen the dead skin cell layer on the surface of the skin which helps restore a youthful glow, peels can give anti-aging benefit by stimulating new collagen formation and fading fine lines and wrinkles (over time with consistent use), peels can improve acne and dark spots. It truly depends on the type of peel and the formulation.
I'm excited at discovering your videos because there seems to be no ceiling to what companies will charge women who have problem skin. However, after you cleansed your skin of makeup, it sure looks to me like you (between takes) applied both eyeliner and mascara! You are beautiful (and your skin is so lovely I wouldn't even hide it with foundation) so saying you are removing all your makeup and then suddenly you have makeup on again--well, all this does is make me trust you a little less. I hope I'm wrong but those eyelashes don't lie.
Sunscreens for the eye area are going vary depending on the person. Some folks use baby/kids sunscreens. Dr Dray has a video(s) on sunscreen that might be good for eyes. ColorScience has a 3-in-1 eye sunscreen.
Hi @thebudgetdermatologist, why do you not recommend hyaluronic acid for rosacea skin?(Something I've been wondering about, but didn't ask, since watching your products you DO recommend for rosacea skin video) Also, what if said rosacea skin is accompanied by distended and congested pores (blackheads and sebaceous filaments) and is 47? 😜Also, does a mineral SPF of 50 have the potential to be more irritating than one of SPF 30? Thanks in advance! PS. I am using a .75% metronidazole cream that am not sure if it actually does anything.
I might check out her rosacea video as she has products she recommends. I'd also check out Dr. Sam Ellis' videos on rosacea as she herself also has rosacea. Other derms with videos are Dr. Daniel Sugai, Dr. Shereene Idriss, Doctorly, Dr Dray, etc.

Do the Platinum peels improve texture- I am scheduled for laser but wondering if I should try home peels instead
Not in winter, but the rest of the year, I use Paula's Choice AHA/BHA 10-minute peel once a week on the night I skip tretinoin. It does a great job.

Just some feedback. It would be really helpful to hold the product still so that we may see the packaging and may be even read the box.
She has the products linked.

Do you have any recommendations for self tanners??
Btw, love your videos, information, advice, etc.! 😊

Is the pads and the serum the same thing? I want to get one but not sure if they're the same thing or not.
I use product from ATOMY, made by Kolmar in Korea, very nice quality
Is the ordinary peel solution effective?
@@GenXVictoria thank you!

I'm using Charlotte Tilbury Glow Toner. I have combination skin. I really like it.
Speaking of Elemis, I know you've talked about collagen supplements but Elemis also has one. Have you checked that one out?

Color science is the best but pricey
What eye cream would be good for millia (not sure if I spelled it right) or an eye serum? Thanks

...maybe my skin isn't that rosacea-ey but I use HA and haven't had any noticeable issues. This is a good question...
Good question! I spoke to pharmacist with rosacea and she said she loves HA.
the peels ive used you put the cream or substance on, it dries up and u peel it off. i thought that was a peel🧐
i thought peels were peels. those look like wipes.
