#LuckBeALandlord #Part4 - Hry
It took some spins, but I guess when it rains, it pours.
For future note @ 15:33, you can use a general zaroff to remove general zaroff. They kill each other. They are that cold blooded 💀
With things like the Time Machine essence, where you don't want to waste value on destroying the present, just right click the item before you spin to deactivate it. Then you can activate it again once you have a coal or fossil you want to pop. Micromanaging active items and essences can be incredibly powerful--I once got rekt by a fine print that wouldn't let me deactivate piggy bank essence during the landlord fight on floor 20, ultimately resulting in a 994/1000 when rent was due. :(
So excited to see a cards/suites build eventually
One of the highest value possible on one spin that I know of is one flower, all others suns, with the telescope item. It’s 1x20^19 with no other modifiers.
General Zaroff keeing a wild garden and yelling at people to keep of his lawn.
37:21 that flower 😄
37:49 THAT flower 😅
39:08 🤑
Destruction hexes are gonna be a must have early on in later runs, since they can remove duds for you!
Oh man that protractor. While you were wrapping up I was dying for you to click the spin button again lol. Just one more!
Great vid! You can scroll down in th inventory to see destroyed symbols
i have fed three minutes of my life to The Algorithm™, may your videos be blessed with continued views and bountiful reviews
30:29 not sure if you found out later, but you can scroll down for destroyed symbols and items.
I would suggest that if you want to keep a build going, play it until you skip adding symbols 5 times. That way you can keep it going some, but once you have skipped that many yiu probably have everything you need for it and can call it good
I know you said you didn’t want to go to 1 billion since it can take a long time but I think it’d be a fun idea if you made a specific video where you did. An idea I thought of to not waste hours getting the build where you can is if you just play and if you get a build that doesn’t make money fast then you can turn it into a normal video and just try again later? Idk. Just giving fun ideas out. Maybe you could make a live stream for it? Nonetheless I love the series, keep up the great work!
dont automatically remove something if you are over 20, you just picked up a present at 11:21, knowing well youve got a toddler that could potentially destroy it, and will free up the board. Thats wasted money, you are early in the floors so that doesnt matter now, but when you go higher up, youll feel it
I can't believe how long that target lasted
Beating the landlord is the game end - after that is infinite mode where you just go however long you feel like.
yea but sometimes i wanna keep going with rent and see how long i can go
Great series:)
ideally you want 1 flower and 19 suns with the telescope
and it scales even more with rusty gear
Yeah.. I was playing the other day... I told myself " I'll play for 30 mins then ill go study" turns out I played for 3 hours.
I had a flower give me 500k just now, got to a total of 1000000 coins before calling it XD
All my homies love this game!
Gamble for your life, comrade.
Iirc zaroff can zaroff zaroff.
dude you had so many cat items presented to you, if you’d taken them all… you would’ve destroyed if you did endless
A) That is just how Luck be a Landlord works, you don't know what you're going to get, so many choice will have been good in hindsight
B) I don't really care about "destroying" endless since the second the landlord is defeated there are zero stakes lol
@@Retromation I agree completely but I swear I saw on higher floors that the landlord can run to the higher level or something. I assume that would enable endless to have rent but I agree endless without rent is meaningless
@@devilslighter2987 The goal of endless is to get 1 billion, that's what the stats page counts as wins anyway, so after beating the landlord if the build seems like it can get there somewhat quickly or can easily transition into something that can get there you should go for it otherwise just don't bother
Erster amk
The arrows are much worse than they initially seem. Take the 2x arrow as an example. Since it doubles what it points at, and it doesn't show any preference about which thing it points at, it's like you have one more of your most average item. Except it's not, because it doesn't actually have the synergy of your most average item. For example, if it were to double the value of a cultist, you still would have earned more money from just having another cultist. --So, at best it's slightly worse than your average item, which makes it below average, and that's before considering that it can miss. Even with a full board (no blank spaces or items that have no earning), it still misses 31% of the time by pointing off the grid. If it's at best sub-par (let's say 7% worse than average) and it's only doing that 59% of the time(at best), the 2x arrow is worth about 30% of your average item. Complete scam. I question whether the 3x or 4x arrow is even takable in most cases. A 3x arrow would just double the 2x arrows value, so it'd only be worth 60% of your average. A 4x arrow would only get you to 90% of your average item's value. Even the 4x is still a cheap knock-off of your average item, so you'd only want to take it when leaning hard into one strat and you are just trying to fill-out your board.
but it does a whole line right does th math check out considering that?
this person doesnt understand how multipliers work. yes a 2x or a 3x standalone is bad but alot of this multiply and as such is much much stronger then your math would suggest (why would you ever go flower build they only get +1 from bees and rain sooo bad). >20% it points off the grid and
This is flat out incorrect. On average, even bronze arrows are always worth it if you do the math. What are you talking about?
You typed all of that up without knowing a single thing about what the arrows actually do lmao. You are literally completely wrong except for maybe the pointing off the grid percentage as I can't be bothered to check your math, but based on the rest of your nonsense I have my doubts on your accuracy there.
All of the arrows are always worth it (bronze maybe not something like 1 - 5% of the time or something)
The math is as follows:
Arrows point to 1.375 symbols on average
So the formula for how much the arrow would be approximately worth is:
1.375 * (Average spin value/20) * (Multiplier - 1)
So for bronze arrow this would just be 1.375 * average meaning it is always worth a fair bit more than your board.
Silver and gold arrows are two of the best symbols in the game as they provide such good value
